The flat had absolutely everything what you could want for my long stay. It was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. It has a fantastic roof terrace overlooking the main square and you can see the Pilgrimage church of St. John of Nepomuk at Zelená hora on the skyline. There was a hammock to enjoy the sunshine. And I was even provided with the BBQ facilities which I really enjoyed. On my next visit, I hope to be able to book this apartment again.

The town itself is not much.

The town itself is not much. The church on Zelená Hora is beautiful. We went to the restaurant U pily, where they have classic Czech dishes of very good quality at reasonable prices. We visited the café Stalingrad, where they make really good coffee and the place has a great atmosphere.

The inns served local food and beer, and they even had a beer hall in the butcher's shop, offering exquisite meat products, where locals would hang out, enjoying beer or delicious strudels with sausage. The climate was excellent, and the town was nestled in the surrounding spruce forests, with beautiful views of the surrounding hills, plateaus, and valleys.

It's unbelievable how quiet the city is on weekends and that people are hardly out and about. At 10pm, almost everywhere is dark (houses, apartment buildings), various fast food places, pizzerias, Turkish restaurants and almost empty pubs... Maybe half the city was on vacation, it's hard to say.

We liked the Church of St.

We liked the Church of St. John of Nepomuk the most on Zelená hora. We visited the Restaurant U Šimáka in Polnička and otherwise we ate at the Restaurant and Hotel Tálský mlýn. We used public transport in Žďár nad Sázavou. In winter cross-country skiing, in summer cycling and swimming in the Pilská reservoir and in Velký Dářek.

Well, we were in this guesthouse with our own car, not for the purpose of sightseeing or nature. A member of our family was celebrating a round anniversary and we were participants. But because we liked the surroundings of the guesthouse very much, we are considering a longer stay here and for the purpose of local tourism.

Vysočina certainly has a lot to offer, I've been there twice and I still have a lot left. I get around on foot and there are lots of ponds everywhere, sculptures by local natives and nicely groomed walking trails and of course the dominant feature of Žďár, the basilica.

In the beginning I was surprised that there is no buffet or similar breakfast. But I was asked every day what i personally want like to have for breakfast and this was then brought. Also they remembered not to bring coffee because I am drinking only tea. So really a nice hotel. Also the location near to the pond was nice, so I was able to take a run in the evening after work, and they also have a sauna and a really beautiful garden. Really a nice place to stay.

My recent stay at this hotel in Žďár nad Sázavou was wonderful. The staff were friendly and provided complimentary parking tickets, which made exploring the town hassle-free. The food was tasty, and the apartment was surprisingly spacious. The hotel's central location was perfect for exploring the town's history. Breakfast was enjoyable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'd definitely stay here again.

The location of the hotel is good and there's also a parking right in front of the hotel. The staff was nice and we had a huge apartment with two bedrooms - really spacious and comfortable with nice bathroom. There's also a cool place for children to play - we really appreciated that. Also the breakfast was very good.
