A newly renovated family driven hotel where the staff is very kind indeed and where everything works. I had a bright room and every morning I enjoyed a solid breakfast in nice surroundings. A nice place to wake up in the morning, and a nice place to return to in the evening.

The hotel is one of the best during my travel history. The location is unbeatable: 3 minutes from the main railway station,10-15 minutes calm walking from Staromestka square. In the very center, but the place is not noisy. The hotel itself is modern and functional, the bathroom is perfect with all necessary amenities. The breakfast deserves special words. Delicios and varied, even with champaign! The price for all this was more than reasonable. Last but not least: the personel is friendly and helpful, all our requests were adressed. Definetely for return. Большое спасибо за чудесное пребывание в Праге!

The size of the room, the comfort and the quietness. We also like the various shops and restaurants that were around us, and if we wanted more, we were in the thick of it within a 15-minute walk. The sauna/wellness room in the hotel was a bonus.....wished we had more time to use it more. Overall, it was a fabulous place to stay whilst exploring a fantastic city.

The location is excellent, and the breakfast service from the waitress was outstanding. On my second morning, I had a sore throat, and when I requested a honey lemon drink, she kindly served freshly cut lemons and show me the hot water and honey for me to help soothe my throat. Her thoughtful service really made a difference and was much appreciated.

FAQs about hotels in Prague

Discover the Magic of Prague

The Czech capital is nothing short of magical, with Prague’s countless bridges, cathedrals, domes and castles reflected in the Vltava River. Thankfully the city escaped most of WWII’s destruction, leaving the rich history and fairytale façade of this Bohemian city intact.

Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world and the St. Vitus Cathedral is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. The Cathedral’s lookout tower rewards those willing to climb 300 steps with the best view of the city.

Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Mala Strana district will bring you to the Charles Bridge. Prague’s beautiful 14th-century monument buzzes with musicians and local crafts sales. The Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, and Storch building of Old Town compete for popularity with the neoclassical Estate Theatre and the Czech National Museum.

The cafes and restaurants of Wenceslas Square are great for people watching and the Franz Kafka house, the Old New Synagogue and Frank Gehry’s Dancing House are perfect for soaking up history.

Flights arriving at Prague Vaclav Havel International Airport will be in the city centre after a short subway ride. For historic hotels, cheap hostels or charming apartments head to Booking.com for nearly 700 accommodations in Prague.

Everybody has his own preference.

Everybody has his own preference. It’s a small town for a short trip yet people are astounded with the beauty of the buildings. Charles bridge was awesome, the old town was cool , the astronomical clock is artistic .those attractions were just a minute walk away from each other so you do not have to spend for the hop on hop off or tour .. The dancing building was yes , Different infrastructure . It’s okay, for me it’s something I’m good not to come back for. Water is definitely expensive.! We ate in one Man paih ho , a Vietnamese restaurant where the server won’t smile at all however their food was delicious and worth the price , that’s what matter!

Loved Prague, magical at Christmas.

Loved Prague, magical at Christmas. Really easy to get around on foot, by tram and reasonable costs for an uber. Food wise there are lots of places to eat, and all very reasonably priced. We went to both Staromáček’s Dlouha 610/4 and Karlova 46, the food was very good in both places, however, the service was nicer at Dlouha 610/4. Went to Little Chimney for a chimney cake as they did gluten free chimney cakes as well, with great service provided by Patrick. The gluten free chimneys had run out, but he kindly made one. Make sure you take thermal layers as it can get very cold!

Beautiful city, especially during the Christmas season - so much to do and see. Great selection of restaurants, shops and Christmas markets. Great public transport. Tip - pre-book your visits, especially the Clementinum - had to queue for 1 hour for the tickets in the freezing cold.

Prague is a remarkable city, imbued with an atmosphere that feels both magical and reminiscent of a fairytale. Prague is a great place, one of the most walkable cities - plenty to see, plenty to experience - museums, culture, restaurants, workshops, sightseeing, everything that comes to mind of a city-type traveler! I would recommend it for between 3-5 days, depending on what you want to do. We had 6 days and used one of those to visit Cesky Krumlov - a UNESCO town with lots of history! Prague is easy to navigate through, practically everyone speaks English (or German), people are quite helpful. I would recommend visiting the most popular destinations early morning - like the Astronomical clock, Charles bridge, etc. The only downside was that many of the restaurants require reservation - a bit uncomfortable for travelers without strict plan of where and when to eat - after all travelling is about exploring, not planning every step :)

The location was amazing. Just minutes away from Old Town Square. The receptionist was lovely and so helpful. As we arrived very early we were able to leave our bags with them whilst we explored the town prior to check in. The room had two single beds, plenty of room for both of us and was very clean. The bathroom was on the smaller side but again very clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast was buffet style with a good choice of food. Even though there was no one on reception after 7pm the hotel was and felt very secure.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Assenzio in Prague! While the room was a little smaller than we expected, it was still perfectly comfortable for a family of two. The beds were fantastic — so cozy and supportive — and the room itself was spotless, warm, and very inviting. We especially appreciated how central the location was, with easy access to public transport that quickly takes you to Old Town Square and the city centre. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay. We would definitely recommend it!
