FAQs about hotels in Prague

Discover the Magic of Prague

The Czech capital is nothing short of magical, with Prague’s countless bridges, cathedrals, domes and castles reflected in the Vltava River. Thankfully the city escaped most of WWII’s destruction, leaving the rich history and fairytale façade of this Bohemian city intact.

Prague Castle is the largest ancient castle complex in the world and the St. Vitus Cathedral is a stunning example of Gothic architecture. The Cathedral’s lookout tower rewards those willing to climb 300 steps with the best view of the city.

Walking through the cobblestone streets of the Mala Strana district will bring you to the Charles Bridge. Prague’s beautiful 14th-century monument buzzes with musicians and local crafts sales. The Astronomical Clock, Tyn Church, and Storch building of Old Town compete for popularity with the neoclassical Estate Theatre and the Czech National Museum.

The cafes and restaurants of Wenceslas Square are great for people watching and the Franz Kafka house, the Old New Synagogue and Frank Gehry’s Dancing House are perfect for soaking up history.

Flights arriving at Prague Vaclav Havel International Airport will be in the city centre after a short subway ride. For historic hotels, cheap hostels or charming apartments head to Booking.com for nearly 700 accommodations in Prague.

The trip would have been a great trip in one of the best city in whole Europe had our stay been comfortable. But thanks to hotel staff they did everything to spoiled this trip. Our trip could have been better if the room was right. I am 70 years and wife 64 years. So we expect and book accordingly. Which did not prove to be online with expectations

Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe with much of its historical architecture intact (it was spared bombing in WW2). The city has excellent culture, many historical places to see and has excellent shops, bars and restaurants. It is also one of the safest cities I have visited in Europe. This is a must to put on your itinerary.

I liked how clean the streets were, prices were quite ok, metro or tram are accessible, clean, a nice experience taking them. Lovely visiting the library and the castle, taking a walk through the center too. Food was very good every time with no exception and people were friendly. The only minus were cars driving a bit carelessly and not stopping even if we have started passing. Drivers in ubers/bolt were also the same. We are from a country where cars drive aggressively as well but they are careful to passers.

Location was superb in the Old Town area of Prague, and being within walking distance of all the places of interest in the Old Town area, such as the Old Town Square with the grand astronomical clock, the famous Charles Bridge, and as well as the Lesser Town area of Prague at the other end of Charles Bridge. The hotel had parking for hotel guests' cars and our car was parked right in front of the hotel entrance. Beds were comfortable and towels were thick and fluffy. Free coffee and teas available 24 hours in the reception area.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Assenzio in Prague! While the room was a little smaller than we expected, it was still perfectly comfortable for a family of two. The beds were fantastic — so cozy and supportive — and the room itself was spotless, warm, and very inviting. We especially appreciated how central the location was, with easy access to public transport that quickly takes you to Old Town Square and the city centre. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay. We would definitely recommend it!

This hotel is located in front of the tram line and is only a 15 - 20 minute walk to Old town square. It is also one subway stop away from the main train station. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. We were on the 8th floor and found our room to be quiet and very comfortable. The buffet breakfast was very good and there was a good selection of hot and cold dishes.

Everything was excellent from the moment we arrived till our check-out. The welcoming free ice tea was refreshing after the long journey. The best part is the hotel location which was near the old town square, the astronomical clock, restaurants, shops, and historical sights.
