Great price to value combination. A lot of ski/snowboard rentals in the city.. Rooms are small, but you have everything you need after day on the slopes to relax, dry out and to sleep. Decent food available either in the hotels restaurant or nearby. Its a city center, where "city" is one central street :)) Car parking available. Slopes for kids and for learning right nearby. If wished bigger slopes variation, then Klinovec is 10 minutes drive by car. DE/CZ speaking personnel :)

In my view the local authorities and hotel owners should...

In my view the local authorities and hotel owners should take better care of cleaning the snow inside the town and organising traffic on the town premises. It was really hard and sometimes dangerous to walk the streets because of the piles of snow and many cars trying to pass through the narrow streets full of snow.

I liked a lot of the trip.

I liked a lot of the trip. Boží Dar is a great location, where you can leave your car parked for the entire stay and go exploring the surroundings with a backpack on your back. The restaurants in Boží Dar are great, we visited 4 and they were all divine. In the Červený vlk restaurant, they have a great sirloin steak, which is unconventionally served in one large dumpling.

A wonderful location, a very nice Jesus' path for children.

A wonderful location, a very nice Jesus' path for children. Beautiful walks in the area. We went on foot to the Ladies' ski slope, through Klínovec in the direction of Neklid and Boži dar, and on the second day Horní Blatná to Nejdek. The forests are healthy, beautiful. I recommend.

My granddaughter and I visited Boží Dar for the second time.

My granddaughter and I visited Boží Dar for the second time. In the summer it is a very pleasant place with good activities for children (Novako area, Ježíškova cesta). There are plenty of restaurants, we visited Zelený dům, Hotel Praha. The food is very tasty and the service is pleasant. The restaurant spaces are luxurious.

The destination has very beautiful surroundings. There are many options for good food in the town. In all the restaurants we visited, the service was helpful and nice. Considering that there are many guests from Germany, the prices are usually not exorbitant.

A fairly small village, but with plenty of activities:...

A fairly small village, but with plenty of activities: there's a ski lift that also operates in summer – we watched for a while. Nice cafes with delicious ice cream and cakes, a brewery... everything you need. It's 3 km to the Fichtelberg mountain and Oberwiesenthal, a pleasant hike without any major climbs. The trails are well-marked.

The check-in and checkout was problem less, all the necessary documents checks were done online prior to the stay and we needed to meet the host for getting the key only, no delays at all! The room was cozy, neat and clean, with all the stuff needed for the stay and more (discounts to the nearby restaurants, hints and tips, written explanations and hotel rules, etc.). The staff (Ondrej in particular, we didn't meet anyone else) was extra nice and helpful.

The property was very clean and although located on the main road of Bozi Dar was not a problem with traffic noise. It is well soundproofed. The apartment had everything you could wish for and is very stylishly decorated. We really enjoyed our stay there. Large room for bicycle storage. Directly across the road is a restaurant and micro brewery. The beer and food in this restaurant is exceptional.

More a bed and breakfast than a hotel, it's a good place to stay for a couple of nights. Cozy rooms, nothing fancy, but more than okay for the price we paid. Also, the breakfast, while fairly simple, was better than what we expected after reading previous reviews.
