Amazing people working in the hotel - very friendly and open-hearted! I stayed with two kids and we were more then happy that we choose it for our short vacation. Clean and spacious room, all facilities, lovely breakfast and warm chit chat with out host! I like the location, everything is in close distance to any choice and taste - chocolate workshop, natural trails, waterfalls, rope park for kids and grownups! Best place ever!

I do not understand the negative reviews left by some former guests of this hotel. This is an authentic place with a century-long history, beautifully restored last year and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. I spent two nights here at the end of November and truly wish I had stayed longer. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The spacious lobby with a fireplace, Earl Grey tea, and a large bar creates a warm and atmospheric space. The entire hotel breathes history, with newspaper clippings, portraits, and carefully preserved antique details that make you feel immersed in a real historical setting. It is truly one of a kind. Most old hotels in the area are already closed, so I am very grateful to the new owners for preserving this place with such care and love, giving visitors a rare chance to experience something special. Breakfast was a buffet with enough variety to start an active day. The views from the balcony are stunning, and the room was spacious with a brand-new bathroom and a powerful hot shower. You can also enjoy breakfast on the veranda overlooking the mountains and breathing fresh mountain air.

Whilst we love a walk we are not serious trekkers - the area...

Whilst we love a walk we are not serious trekkers - the area is very set up for proper trekking and seems to be its main focus. We were on an overnight visit from staying in the hills behind Pafos. Really enjoyed the fabulous drive up through breathtaking views, drops, twists and turns - loved it! Some very sweet villages on the way too. We regretted not stopping more on the way up, missed things like the waterfall - maybe more time needed?! Really appreciated the wonderful mountain air, views from both our hotel and our strolls. We did part of the trek around Mount Olympus, not far from Troodos Square, but trek signs were pretty non existent after initial information board at the parking area so after about two hours decided to retrace our steps, not quite confident we had followed the right forks in the paths! As inexperienced explorers we didn’t want to get caught out. Our three hour total trek was very worth it, the views out across the Pafos Forest region were stunning. It was a hot sun, cool wind April day so on and off layers and good walking soles needed, plus water of course, and maybe a snack or two! Also very few people at this time of year - the upside, fabulously peaceful, the down, not so many people to ask for help from!!

calm, relaxation, peace, contact with nature, rest. We ate delicious food at the hotel but also in Platres. We visited two monasteries, of Saint John the Baptist and of Panagia Trooditissa.

Three nights was just right.

Three nights was just right. We went on lovely walks, visited a village, and the Kykkos Monastery. Otherwise, there wasn't much to do in Troodos. No shops or other amenities within walking distance. It was very deserted in November.

We found our way easily using Google Maps, the small villages and the scenery are very beautiful, there are many places to eat such as small restaurants, also grocery stores, fruit and vegetable stands. There are places for short and long walks, waterfalls, springs with the possibility of bathing in some. For wine lovers, there are many wineries along the way. Highly recommended!

Small cosy mountain hotel in walking distance from Troodos square. My favourite part was by far the bar/lounge area with the nostalgic music that was an ideal soundtrack to the legacy furnishings and the small library available to patrons. Perfect for a quiet, discreet mountain escape to enjoy the nearby nature trails. Don't forget to buy fresh local nuts from Choraitis at the Troodos square!

Actually we liked breakfast, dinner and lobby with fireplace. In the room we liked the balcony with mountain view. Having read the Google reviews of the restaurant, we were hesitant, but our experience turned out great - especially the trout and halloumi, as well as the service by the staff. Big portions too.
