We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this boutique hotel. Don’t be put off by the fact that the hotel is listed as a 2-star—it is definitely much more than that. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable, staff were warm, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. The rooms are spacious and beautifully designed, with large, comfortable beds that made for a perfect night’s sleep. The view from the room was breathtaking. Breakfast was a feast, offering an incredible variety of choices from fresh fruits and pastries to hearty hot dishes. Overall, the combination of friendly service, great comfort, and outstanding food made this experience truly memorable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for relaxation in Troodes mountains.

The location is amazing. Close to hiking trails and the ski slopes. The restaurant is above expectations: meals are really good, wine is excellent, the service is very good. The room is good, clean and cosy. Even pillows are very good, which is an exception for inexpensive hotels.

What a lovely, relaxing stay I had at Christys'. The hotel is a very traditional mountain retreat—clean, with a beautiful terrace, spacious common areas, and a great view. Andreas, the manager, is a very kind and generous man. He came to pick me up when I arrived by bus and helped me with some issues I had. He’s always ready with a smile and happy to answer any questions. Truly a great host. I stayed only two days but wished I could have stayed much longer. This is one of those warm, welcoming places that make you feel at home right away.

This wonderfully atmospheric historic hotel sits tucked away in a picturesque forest, and stepping inside feels like traveling back to the mid-20th century. There’s even an original menu from 1944 framed on the wall—such a charming touch. The lobby is incredibly cozy, complete with a fireplace and excellent cocktails, and the veranda bar is absolutely stunning. Breakfast is served in a beautiful restaurant that perfectly complements the hotel’s character. Our room was simple but very comfortable, featuring two balconies. The bathroom looked like it came straight out of a high-end European design catalog—everything modern, sleek, and top-quality. The staff were warm, attentive, and even helped us out with toothbrushes when we needed them. I would gladly stay here again!
