We stayed 3 days for celebrating our wedding anniversary. It was a really romantic spot, away from touristic crowds. We had a car, easy to go to Akamas for a hike, Latchi for great dining options, Polis for grocery shopping. The host was attentive to our needs and had a lovely surprise for our anniversary night. The studio is not big but enough for a comfortable stay. Comfy bed, good water pressure, clean, amazing sunsets. There are sun loungers and a shower on the way to beach that is really close. Enjoyed sounds of the waves. There is a sandy beach just 100 m on the left, almost never any other people there, we had lots of swimming and wave-jumping.

We spent our mornings going for a swim in the local beach riding the free bicycles provided by the host and eating fresh fruit from the trees by the house. We got around the winding roads with a car and hiked along the mountainsides. The combination of mountains by the sea was breathtaking. Host was very welcoming and accomodating to all our needs. If you want to feel the local charm and avoid touristy places then Pomos and Joanna's Apartments are the places to be.

The property was stunning, spacious, well equipped and in a perfect location. The view of the ocean was breathtaking and the pool was lovely and clean with sun loungers and shade. Every bedroom had air conditioning and balconies. There is a car parking space underneath the house which you can access from inside and it keeps the car in the shade. It had everything we needed and exceeded our expectations.

Amazing sunsets, Right next to the beach. We had everything that made the apartment comfortable. Truly just like at home, only better 😊🌴 The hammocks are such a nice touch, at night you can gaze the sky and see many stars. The owners are very friendly, they gave us coffee, sweets and oranges. We had one of the best holidays here and we definitely plan on coming back!

Kato Pyrgos is a very quiet place on the north west coast of...

Kato Pyrgos is a very quiet place on the north west coast of Cyprus, not easily accessible without a car. We went in September which is still holiday season, but you wouldn't know it! Most visitors here seem to be people from Nicosia and Limassol who come for the weekend, so if you want a quieter time go during the working week. It is a great place for a short break, but a week is probably too much. We ate in Grape by the sea, where we watched the sun go down while eating good quality food. On our second night we ate at the Tylos Hotel and Restauarant, this has an extensive menu, including fresh fish choices, and is also right on the seafront, near the main sandy beach. Kato Pyrgos is essentially a one street village, but the street is longer than it seems, so if you are going from one end to the other, take the car.

Very safe location. Very friendly owners. Very clean.

Very safe location. Very friendly owners. Very clean. Need a car though to get to the sea and village. Recommend "Grape" bar and eatery. Omega beach bar (as you enter the town) is the best place to go for a swim. This is a free sandy beach but with a good bar. Be aware that you can't take a hire car over the border into the Turkish sector.
