Family owned guesthouse in the center of Palmeira authentic fishing village, rooms are decent and there is a nice terrace with sunbeds to chill out, great value for the money. Milanca is a very nice and warm welcoming host and provided us with great tips! We will like to come back!

Excellent value for the money, I had a great stay. Fabio was a very responsive, kind and helpful host. Check in and out went smoothly. The apartment was cozy, airy, well furnished and clean, in a new/renovated building. Internet worked well and it was quiet, so I could work from there without issues. Convenient location right by a public transport stop and with a small supermarket across the street. There was literally everything I could possibly need.

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to get to know the real Sal and its people. The owners went above and beyond to make me feel not only welcome, but truly at home. The room was super comfy, and the food was always delicious (be sure to try one of Candida's secret recipes for dinner, if you get the chance). I was provided with all the help and advice I needed in order to explore the island, and Candida and Martin personally took me to places that only local people know about. If, like me, you prefer a quiet, remote beach over those crowed, touristy ones: there's a small one just a short bicycle ride away – although I usually opted for a walk through to beautiful steppe landscape to get there. If you prefer spending your days with the other tourists down in the south of the island: Santa Maria beach is only 20 minutes by bus – which may sound complicated at first, but is actually super fun and convenient (and it only costs 1 Euro). I could go on praising this place for two weeks (which is actually the amount of time I stayed), but I'll just stop here – not without saying: Thank you, Candida & Martin, for the wonderful time at kleine schweiz! Até a próxima vez.

The property was fantastic, had ac , fan , laundry and a lovely balcony, it even had an enormous tv. The host was an amazing person and I always been looked after, it even felt like he was a family member. It was well located , with a couple of restaurants , shops nearby and a taxi rank. Definitely recommend it and I always look forward to book in the same apartment for sure.
