After 2 weeks on Santiago this is the only place I genuinely would recommend. First of all, the location. The famous Plateau is good only for a very short visit. This area is much nicer, safer, more relaxed. There are a lot of beautiful and colorful houses around, as well as many really nice restaurants / bars and the central beach (which is really good!) - all within 15 min walk max. The owner of the hotel really pays attention to every single detail. The staff is not just friendly, they are also very professional and truly understand what does it mean to work in HoReCa (which is rarely the case on Santiago unfortunately!) My stay was super comfortable and I appreciated that everyone was going above and beyond to make me feel welcomed and relaxed. I was very touched when I didn’t feel too well and the owner made sure to constantly check on me and provide me with everything and anything needed. The restaurant and bar by the hotel are very nice as well, overall it felt like a very fair value for money and I wish I’d make this place my main base during my trip.

Hotel is very nice furnished, with new furniture. Room was very clean, they really take care about. Staff is just great, they were very helpful with all requests. Breakfast is nice, they did upon request amazing espresso as well. The property has also very good restaurant, specialized for grilled fish and seafood. I can highly recommend lunch or dinner there.

Great position right in the pedestrian street in “Plateau”, where all the restaurants and nice live music on the weekends are. Very clean, spacious room. Nice bathroom. The place has a colonial style feeling. We liked Davidson who works there and who was very friendly and helpful.

I had a great stay at this hotel in Praia! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The staff was incredibly friendly and always ready to help, making us feel truly welcome. The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. This is my third visit to Santiago and 3rd stay at this hotel! The location is excellent for the purpose of my visit, as its located in a beautiful area of the city and in a walking distance to almost everything. The Plateau (where the hotel is located) is a very classic area of the city with beautiful buildings and streets. Very easy and safe to walk, and many food options at walking distance. The hotel service is excellent, from the General Manager to the Housekeeping ladies. All do their best for your comfort, and make sure you have what you need. They also provide airport shuttle (paid) at request, and the driver will be waiting at the airport with your name. If I return to Praia, no doubt will be there again.
