Karole is absolutely amazing. The apartment is on a family estate, it’s beautiful and very well furnished. We felt at home, far from the tourist area, in nature. We saw a lot of toucans and other amazing birds. Thank you so much. We had a blast!

Ernesto the host and the vibe of the place. The story behind the place is heart warming and gives you positive feelings. The hidden river is a must, you can swim and chill in the middle of the nature. Ernesto helped us a lot, gave us explanations about animals around and place to visit. He even gave us advices about the best itinerary to take to go on our next stop. Lovely place, kind person, touching encounter.

The lodge itself was fine, a bit basic but it was very spacious with a nice deck. But what really makes it worth your stay is the beautiful garden!! Birds everywhere such as toucans, aracari and parrots but you can also see horses, lizards, butterflies and more. Elias is a really kind host who helped us book a wonderful night tour and we can also recommend the breakfast. Rio Celeste is just around the corner. Overall really great value for your money!!

Our visit to this lodge was unforgettable!The rooms and all the property have a very special charm:) Everything was clean and very much thought about. We enjoyed the pool. The breakfast was amazing and plenty, they cooked eggs from their own chickens! Owners' hospitality was exceptional, it was pleasure to meet such a wonderful couple! We hike the trails and visited hot springs pool nearby. Highly recommend this place for families and couples, you will not regret:)

Super nice check in. Great English and we could pay by card. We even got a night tour trough the gardens! Saw several different frogs and a fluorescent caterpillar. Room was spacious and just perfect. Breakfast in the morning was nice. The juga natural was very tasty.

Absolutely everything! When we arrived we were given a warm welcome by the owners, they were enormously kind and helpful with tips for food and things to do throughout our stay. The rooms were beautiful, clean, new and had everything you need. Beds were comfortable and great bathroom & shower. It’s like a dream! You can enjoy freshly prepared breakfast at the Bistro and watch the birds (toucans guaranteed), or chill there during the day by the pool. We also had dinner one night that the owners prepared fresh, which was great and they were also accommodating our dietary needs. It was also nice that we had our own patio outside our house. There’s a hike near the property to see the waterfall, which is highly recommended. All in all, we loved Villa El Toucan!

Such a wonderful setting. The jungle! The toucans! The beauty! Perfectly clean gorgeous chalets. We loved it! And amazing perk toys for the little one to borrow.
