The host is such a nice women, which made is a very delicious breakfast. It is the perfect between the countryside and being fast at other areas to do a little hike. The kitchen is outside and is pretty basic but have everything you need. We are much into wildlife and were very happy about an armadillo and a lot of different birds in the garden.

The hotel is as close as you can get to the entrance for the Chirripo National Park. The rooms are nice, simple and with everything you need. The staff is really helpful and nice. There's even a physiotherapy place located in the hotel. The bonus of this place is that you can leave your car park there until you come back from the hike and they also lend you the showers afterwards.

The breakfast was really nice with several options to chose from. The staff was always friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed the pool. The menu for lunch and dinner was also good, with a large variety of options to chose from, also for vegetarians.
