The best place to stay in Monteverde… central location, comfortable and spotless room, delicious breakfast, amazing team that takes care of you beyond possible and most of all, it is a place with a soul … managed by dedicated couple, Joan and Ronald who embrace the kindness and travel spirit together with the mission to help the less privileged kids to broaden their educational and life options… it is place where you can rest after an exciting and adventurous day in the beautiful nature of the Monteverde knowing that by staying here you help the local community to be a better place for their kids. What a wonderful idea. Joan and Ronald, thank you for all your effort and dedication, you are doing an excellent job❤️ Special thanks to the kitchen for the one of a kind pancakes for our daughter🥰

I only came for one night and it was worth it! Javier welcomed me warmly and showed me the way to the glamping house. The first impression was wow🤩 The path through the forest leads right to my entrance, next to it is a stream with orange fish. Everything is tastefully decorated, everything you need is there, even extras. There was a small clothes dryer and it worked perfectly, as did the hair dryer. The air conditioning worked, there was hot water, an extra blanket for the night. The bed was very comfortable, as were the pillows and blankets. I felt comfortable sleeping there alone. The path through the forest was lit and looked romantic. And a special experience was the night view of the dancing forest, it was magical. Coffee, tea and juices were offered, and even snacks. The people who work there are very helpful and kind. In the morning I was greeted by Pizote (Coati)🥰 I left this camp very grateful and satisfied🙏🏽 I recommend it wholeheartedly it’s a unique experience💫

The views were outstanding. Spacious room with nice facilities. Chris , the owner is absolutely charming and helpful. Location just outside Santa Elena with a very good restaurant 100m walk. Well stocked supermarket just back on the main road for breakfast provisions

We loved our stay at Chira glamping. It exceeded our expectations. Amazing facilities, comfortable bed, incredible views and so peaceful and relaxing. Great products in the room as well. Everything was so clean and we were really well looked after by Douglas. Breakfast was also lovely.

Absolutely breathtaking! Our stay at Hotel Belmar was nothing short of magical. Nestled in the stunning landscape of Monteverde, this hotel boasts the most picturesque location imaginable. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious, offering a delightful taste of local cuisine. And oh, the view! Waking up to the breathtaking vistas from our terrace each morning was simply unforgettable. To top it all off, we even had the incredible experience of sharing breakfast with some curious monkeys. Hotel Belmar truly exceeded all expectations and made our time in Monteverde unforgettable. We can’t wait to return!

The location was perfect for our requirements - only a short drive to the Monterverde Ecological Park, the El Tigre waterfalls and a night hike we'd booked. Bars and restaurants were about 5 mins drive away and there was a good range to choose from. There was plenty of parking at the accommodation and only a very small number of rooms (5?) - also a jacuzzi outside that was on and hot 24/7. The room was clean and the bathroom very nice - a good supply of hot and cold running water, a fridge in the room, a small electric heater (which we did need!) and internet was reliable.
