Amazing Boutique Hotel in the middle of the forest which offers a great wildlife and the view from our Suite (Mountainview) was kinda surreal. We also booked a tour which included inter alia horseback riding and waterfall rappelling which we can highly recommend too.

Perfect for a stay before/ after tortuguero! Simple, but very clean and comfortable hotel with extraordinary friendly and supportive stuff. Parking lot in front of the room. Pizza restaurant nearby. We even were allowed to let the suitcases with them for our night at tortuguero, as we did not feel comfortable with letting them in the car and the ferry does not have big luggage capacity. Thank you so much again!

Absolutely fantastic, the cabins are lovely, bed comfy and the owners first class. The restaurant has great food and is brilliant value. We sat out the front of our cabin and watched toucans flying in and out of the trees! Howler monkeys in the background. Breakfast was an added bonus. Brilliant value for money, we would have paid more. We could have easily spent a few days just sitting watching the wildlife in really comfortable surroundings.

We got a room upgrade to a suite which was lovely. Dinner was good, although the entire hotel was very quiet as there were very few guests. Breakfast was ok....nothing special.

we had a very warm welcome and a lovely couple caring for us and our two children. we just stayed one night, I think most do. it was clean and we had everything we needed (small kitchen even). we felt also very safe in the property. the communication with the owner was very good, he helped with everything.

The place is inspiring, full of amazing original art and the gardens are incredible. There was a little river running just under my balcony! Amazing family run place.

There were so many things to like about Paraiso Verde. The accomodation was very nice and very clean. The surrounding garden was very beautiful. The place is very quiet and peaceful. At the place was a bouquet of freshly picked flowers and 2 homemade coconut sweets and mangos from the owners garden. The owner and her sun gave us a tour in their garden and property. They both couldn't have been more friendly and hospitable. We absolutely loved our stay.

We arrived way late and we were greeted by the owner on a dark street. And there is when the awesomeness began. The place was a small studio on a dark cocoa plantation. We opened all the doors to (screens to keep out the bugs of course) and heard a lot of birds and animals. Sitting there in middle of "jungle" and only sounds were animals and birds was just magical. Slept like a babies. Next day we walked in the plantation and it was cocoa harvest day so we ate some fresh cocoa and owner told us about cocoa production. Basically a private tour ;). Tasty homemade breakfast was delivered by owner. And no strict check out time - chill. Definate place to visit for a one of a kind experience when you are passing by. Thank you.
