The villa is located in the countryside and so every moment is filled with fresh air, butterflies and bird song. Sitting in the hot tub looking across the cloud-filled hills is a treat not to be missed. The villa itself was spacious, immaculately clean and had everything you need, thoughtfully provided by the owners, including a dehumidifier, Netflix, a kettle etc. The attractions of Santa Elena and Monteverde are close by and are easily accessible. Communication with the owners was excellent - friendly and helpful throughout. This is a wonderful villa and we highly recommend it.

Very cozy little house in a beautiful area. Super sweet owners who make delicious completely home made (including coffee!) breakfasts. The bed was very cozy as well. I did see loads of birds right at the accommodation.

What a beautiful place with wonderful people. The best part about staying here is their direct support to the local community - they donate more than half of their profits towards educational projects in the region. Therefore, when staying in this incredible place, you are directly making a difference in the lives of those less fortunate. The breakfast was superb, and we also loved the "Honesty" area where you recorded what you took, and it would be added to your bill at the end of your stay - so you did not have to go and order a glass of wine, or a beer. You would take it and write down the details for them. The location is absolutely perfect. We could easily walk to restaurants and the center of town. We had a car, however when we did different activities on one day, they were able to organize a taxi for us. The staff is wonderful and incredibly welcoming and helpful. We really cannot say enough good things about this special place. It is an inspiration, and we would love to see more places like this in the world. They would always have our support.

Javier, Roger and the team were brilliant. They went out of their way to make us feel very special - it was my boyfriend's birthday and they decorated the room to help me surprise him. The tent is spacious, the bed comfortable and humongous and everything you need to make a quick meal if needed. You are surrounded by the forest and you fall asleep to the sound of the forest, wind and rain. We didn't see any animals except a couple of spiders but you hear the birds in trees the moment the sun goes up.

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. It's design is beautiful and has incredible views. It is one of the best hotels we have stayed in anywhere in the world. The pungle pool King forest room is within the forest or so it feels., with a big balcony overlooking the mountain and the ocean. Lots of wildlife pass or fly by. The bed is super comfortable and the furnishings comfortable and stylish. The pungle pool lovely and hot. Every single member of staff is super attentive, friendly and helpful. From the second we arrived to the second we left. Attention to detail is fantastic, from the welcome drink and cool towel on arrival to the little gift of a wooden animal ornament. At the last minute we also booked and stayed in the Junior suite, which is exquisite, with enormous windows, a downstairs lounge and bedroom upstairs.

The house (the big one) exceeded our expectations: spacious, all necessary kitchen utilities available, privacy and comfort. The reception staff deserve our special thanks. They did much more than could be reasonably expected to organise the sending of the documents one of our friends had forgotten in Osa peninsula. The breakfast was generous and delicious. Thank you!
