Stunning location right on the beach in a quiet fishing town. Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious! Nice and clean. Room had a fan and a mosquito net. Amazing to fall asleep to the sound of the ocean 😊 Easy to get over to beautiful playa guiones by car/tuk-tuk/bus/hitch hiking or walk for 25min on road then 30min on beach (lovely walk!) if you’re up for it.

Probably the best hotel we stayed at in Costa Rica. Everyone is very kind and helpful, the smallest issues are being quickly resolved. The pool area is so well designed, we usually don’t use the hotel pools, but here we really enjoyed it. It’s close to the beach and everything we needed.

The service, view, ambience and hotel vibe is unbeatable. The staff are so friendly, helpful and professional. The complimentary breakfasts are delicious and everything is so well maintained at the hotel. All the towels, linen and sun beds felt brand new. The hotel was so peaceful and much cooler with the breeze, compared with the town. Really enjoyed the complimentary yoga on offer and chilling around the pool. I would definitely recommend and would love to stay again!

Amazing and attentive staff. The room was very spacious and we felt very comfortable. There were mosquito nets on every window which was convenient. There's two pools on the property one of them was barely used in our time there and we had it almost to ourselves. There's a private beach access directly from the hotel and it only takes 3 minutes to get to the beach.

We loved the location we stayed in - it was perfect for the...

We loved the location we stayed in - it was perfect for the two of us. Besides buying fruit from the road vendors, and having local street food whenever spotted in La Garza, we ate at Rosi's Soda Tica in Nosara, and Soda la Peria in Samara. Getting around Garza was pleasant as everything is walking distance. If you want tranquility, low maintenance and somewhat self-sustainability, Playa Garaza may be the place for you.

Garza is a very quiet beach that serves as the launching...

Garza is a very quiet beach that serves as the launching point for most fishing trips in the area. It was fascinating to watch the small tenders moving people back and forth to the fishing boats and catamarans. There are two stores off the highway and several restaurants ranging from a high end, overpriced place to several soda ticas serving typical Costa Rican food of rice, black beans, salad and protein (fish, chicken or beef).
