The location of the hotel was excellent, being relatively close to San Jose and the airport, but also a good base to tour from. The rooms were elevated with spectacular views over forest, and we had breakfast on the balcony accompanied by humming birds in the adjacent bushes. The hotel grounds included a short trail, which was also stunning. The family that owned the hotel were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They organised a driver for us to undertake specific tours and helped us with a number of other matters during our stay.

This place was amazing. The workers were very friendly and attentive, and the resort itself is beautiful. They also do an amazing job with the landscaping, so you feel like you’re in the middle of the jungle. The food was great and we loved the coffee hour and banana bread! We also did the coffee farm tour, which was amazing! The tour guide was so knowledgeable and talked a lot about their sustainable farming practices.

Handy hotel very close to the airport (5 min by taxi). Staff was kind, smooth check-in even at night. The room was big, comfortable bed. Clean room, very basic but still pleasant. They have a small yard with small pool, relax area. The breakfast was very good! Just remember that you are close to the airport so there is noise.

These people were so amazing to us. We arrived on our shuttle later than expected but they got us in and called us a taxi so we could go and eat. They also lined up a taxi to pick us up at 230am so we could catch our flight and had coffee, tea and fruit ready for us to go. The hotel has a nice pool, options for drinks and the room was cozy and exactly what we needed after traveling all day. The AC in the room worked well and so did the TV. Its only a few minute taxi ride to the airport. We wish we could have stayed longer.
