This was my best vacation ever and it was all because of the staff of the hotel. The hotel itself is unique and beautifully designed but the staff and the owner are the nicest and warmest people I have ever met. They will do everything possible including arranging tours, giving you great suggestions and the staff is just fantastic. The hotel is always super clean and the room is perfect. I have travelled all over the world and I have never felt more comfortable in a hotel than I have felt at Refugio del Jaguar. The location is close to everything and you can easily walk to get around. The saddest part for me was leaving to come back home. Thank you Hotel Refugio del Jaguar for an unforgettable vacation. It’s a lively place. Breakfasts are really nice. Everything is well organized in a very chill manner. The rooftop terrace is somewhat of a party place, so you don’t even have to leave the hostel if you want to “go out” for a beer or two. We stayed in the floor right below the terrace and the waterfall behind the building makes for a nice white noise curtain that blocks both the music and the traffic of Medellin.

I had an excellent stay. The room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and spacious I never felt cramped. I was also pleasantly surprised by the smart home features; everything from the lighting to the curtains could be controlled easily from a panel, which was a great touch. Overall, a modern and comfortable experience. Highly recommended!
