Their kindness and attentiveness are unmatched – they truly go above and beyond to ensure every guest feels special. The property itself is stunning. The rustic yet elegant design perfectly complements the natural beauty of the desert. The pools (yes, plural!) are an oasis of relaxation, and floating in the cool water while surrounded by endless desert landscapes is an experience I’ll never forget. This is the perfect spot to disconnect from the chaos of everyday life. No distractions, just peace, tranquility, and the magic of the desert. The attention to detail, from the pristine cleanliness of the rooms to the thoughtful amenities, speaks volumes about the love and care Lucila and her family pour into this place. The staff was really nice. It's located 500 m from the observatory (there are 5 observatories in Tatacoa desert) which is convenient if you want to do the star gazing. It's also 5 min walk from a few restaurants. They offer breakfast, luncb and dinner for a small charge. They rent bikes and offer a tour to the Grey and Red desert which we took as it was nice hearing about the fornations, how the desert (or rather dry tropical forest) came to be. There's a lot of different types of birds in the garden. Since it's in a desert, there's no electricity, meaning there's no fridge, but they have ice available if you want to cool your drinks. There's no wifi which we didn't mind as it was nice to relax and just enkoy the nature. Staff was very helpful with organizing the transport back to Villaviejas. The room was nice and quite spacious, clean, but very hot (which is to be expected in the middle of the desert). There's a fan in the room.

The location is beautiful. I really enjoyed my walking tour with Don Felipe. Good shower. I loved hearing the horses running at night. The swimming pool was excellent. Good fan in room.

The entire facilities were brand new, well taken care of and fit perfectly in the middle of the desert. The host and his wife provided amazing food, advice, a tour that was really excellent of the desert and local nature. Everything was lovely.
