Hands down one of the best and loveliest boutique hotels I ever stayed in. Suites are more than generous, love to detail is beyond belief and the location is amazing, if you want to disconnect. We specifically chose this place for the nature and birds. We stayed in the el Abismo bungalow. The bungalow is spacious, has its own wifi network and offers great panoramic views.I even spotted a tucanet from the bathroom window.It is furnished with care. The property is quite big, and has trails that lead you to unexpected hidden spots (e.g. a barbercue, or a small waterfall). A lot of effort has been put in landscaping with small ponds and water cascades, lots of flowers and plants. Some plants specifically attract humming birds. The spot is a bit out of the city and not well known to taxi drivers, but no worries-the hotel has its own trusted driver and the drives to the city are very reasonably priced! Staff is very helpful (although not all speak english). The restaurant offers limited, but tasty choice of meals. Highly recommend if you want to immerse yourself in nature!

We don’t know where to begin - our stay on the coffee farm has been the highlight of our entire Colombia trip! We stayed in the main house (casa principal) for 2 nights and would highly recommend it. From stunning views, to attentive staff and excellent home-cooked food, we were blown away. Excellent coffee tour and the amazing, hard-working women who cook the meals and take care of the house were exceptional. Most likely the best food you’ll have in Colombia! Well-maintained gardens as well. Loved watching the humming birds.

By blind luck on our part, the location turned out to be perfect: easy walking distance (to the extent walking is ever easily in hilly Manizales) from the monument at the top of Chipre, as well as the Ecoparque, and next to the Parque de Aguas, a good place to catch buses. The staff was not only helpful, but seemed intent on satisfying our needs before we even knew we had them. For example, they arranged our coffee farm tour and advised on transportation. We had a grand room with a view of sunrise over the mountains.
