It happened so that me and my friend stayed at this hotel 4 times during our more than month journey to Cuba 🇨🇺, Colombia 🇨🇴, Ecuador 🇪🇨 , Peru 🇵🇪 and Brazil 🇧🇷. We chose Bogota as a hub for our traveling to Quito, Amazonia and Santa-Marta on the Caribbean coast of Colombia. Advantages of this hotel. - Located very close to Eldorado airport (just 20 minutes ride by a taxi for COP 20,000-35,000 depending on the time, city traffic and weather conditions). - The neighborhood (Palermo district of Bogota) is safe, there are many different cafes, shops and pharmacies around). The hotel is separated from the street by a fence and guarded 24 hours a day. - Close to Bogota famous landmarks and city museums (the Gold Museum, the Emerald Museum, Fernando Botero Museum, the Military Museum, the Museum of Colonial Art, the Bogota City Museum, the Emerald Trade Center, the Montserrat Mountain Cable Car 🚠). - The rooms were tidy and cleaned every day. - A safe and a fridge are inside each room. - Comfortable bed. - Sufficient pressure in shower in the bath room. - The staff is very polite and attentive. They helped us with keeping some of our luggage 🛅 in the storage room dining our travels to other destinations. Nothing disappeared during our absense. Also when checking out from hotel the last time the employees permitted us to be in the rooms some minutes more to enable us to collect the luggage. - When you have such a wish it is possible to order breakfast which is standard for almost all Latin American countries: a choice out of different varieties of cooked eggs, a tropical fruit salad, oat meals and cereals, bread with butter and jam, coffee and juice.

Staff were very helpful. The apartment was located at the back and was quiet and beautifully appointed and ser voiced daily. The breakfast was excellent with eggs cooked to order. It was a taxi ride everywhere but the taxis were very cheap and initially the staff helped booking taxis. I later downloaded the app and did it myself. Don’t hail taxis in the street as it’s not safe.

The space is very well appointed. The design is quite charming with all amenities a practical traveler might want. The dining room is lovely, service was excellent and the food very good. The room felt particularly spacious, impeccable and the bathroom very comfortable. Excellent value! An added bonus was the small gym that had good equipment. Highly recommend this property.

The staff was exceptionally nice. The breakfast staff even remembered how we like our coffee by the second day. The breakfast buffet and fruit choice was amazing, very varied with something for everyone. The beds were very, very comfortable with good pillows, and I'm picky in that regard. The shower pressure was great with nice, hot water. The room had all facilities and kits you would need. We required a different room, and the reception staff was also very accommodating. Laundry service was also great! I know Bogotá, so for me the location is perfect for what I needed. It's not central per se, but it's a safe and quiet neighbourhood with a great mall on front and lots of nice little vendors and shops around.

There is a positive feeling and people are friendly and helpful. Speaking Spanish is an advantage. I speak it fluently.. Downtown is interesting for a day or two. But the nicest areas/shopping is around parque 93 and around the Andino shopping area. And the chapinero area with lots of interesting restaurants.

Bogotá is a vibrant, fascinating city full of character and warmth. The cultural life is rich, with excellent museums, historic neighborhoods, great architecture, and an impressive food scene ranging from traditional Colombian cuisine to high-end international restaurants. The people are genuinely friendly and welcoming, always ready to help and share their city with pride. The city offers beautiful green spaces, lively districts, and a strong sense of history combined with modern urban life. There is always something to discover, whether it’s art, music, coffee culture, or local markets. The only real challenge is traffic, which can be heavy at peak hours, so planning ahead is important. That said, once you adapt your schedule, it doesn’t take away from the overall experience. Bogotá is a city with soul, energy, and authenticity…highly recommended for travelers looking for culture, diversity, and memorable experiences.

I know the area of Chapinero, where I stayed, quite well and always feel safe. I like the temperate climate of Bogota, ie. cool at night and warm during the day, but never too hot nor too cold. I was able to walk everywhere I needed to go, including into the historical center. However, I did not come here as a mesmerized tourist, I just came to hang out for a while.

Heavy traffic, and air pollution made all the commuting in the city a nightmare. However, the museums that we visited (Museo del Oro/Golden museum and Botero Museum) were excellent. We also visited the Chingaza Park that is in a hill over the town, and where we could see beautiful species of birds.

Nice city , and we see interesting scrawl every where, the climate is very good as neither very hot nor very cold. The people are very nice, we don't need to worry about the cellphone when walking at the street. And we had the colorful fruit, it is tasty.

The Gold and Botero museums are worth a visit. Monserate where you can view the entire city is also very impressive. Never ever buy uncut emerals or any jewelry on the streets, this can be very dangerous.

The four seasons Bogota is extremely well located. the room was beautiful, very well decorated in a classy way and very well equipped. I enjoyed every minute of my stay from the moment I arrived in the hotel until I left. Great breakfast, great cocktails, the staff was very professional. Great restaurant recommendation, truly the speakeasy bar in the other four seasons too. The car service was perfect and efficient.

My go-to hotel when in Bogota. Easy access to and from the airport, in a safe area with a shopping mall, restaurants, and shops within walking distance. Rooms are adequate, becoming a bit aged meanwhile. As everywhere, the hotel's prices have risen substantially over the last few years.
