ChinaJacky is a fantastic and helpful host. The rooms have amazing views, the communal area is great, food is delicious and he was so helpful organising transport and pick ups. The rice terraces are beautiful and it’s a lovely peaceful place. (With a gorgeous dog who will take you on a walk).

She brought me on a hike to watch the sunset in Lower Duoyishu, an experience which I’m sure will be one of my favourite memories forever.

We stayed at Jacky’s for three nights and it was one of the highlights of our trip to Yunnan. The rooms are very clean, spacious and comfortable. The view from the windows is mesmerizing - I highly recommend the inn :)
What really makes this place special though, is the owner. Jacky is the warmest and most helpful host ever - he assisted us with planning the hiking routes and picked us up when we were left stranded in the night due to our poor time management. One really couldn’t hope for a better experience while traveling :)

Perfect location with view on the rice terraces from the balcony. Warm welcome from the staff, great hospitality - they went above and beyond to ensure we have a comfortable stay and no issues communicating with the translation app. The hotel also connected us in advance to a driver we hired for 3 days. Delicious, freshly made dinner for which we could select the ingredients in the kitchen and accomodating for dietary requirements. We would recommend to everyone!

The young man who manages the hotel is extremely kind and helpful. He always provided us with useful recommendations and assisted us whenever we needed information. The hotel's location is excellent for visiting the most important rice terraces, and the small village is also quite charming. The hotel’s restaurant is very nice as well – the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming.

Stunning view of the rice terraces, close to the main sightseeing areas. The host was fantastic. He gave us rides to where we needed. He made meals for the guests, he helped with getting me set up to get back to Kunming. Most of all, he took good care of me when I was sick for a couple of days and needed to stay longer than expected.
