Thirty one is an amazing place to stay! I visited during the low season and was the only person staying but I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. In particular, the staff are incredible. May is a wonderful person and made me feel very welcome! Not only did she organise everything for me to see the local attractions but also went above and beyond to include me in mealtimes, karaoke and teaching me to play mahjong 🀄 Great place, great people. Highly recommend 👍 Hope to see you again next time I am in China May!

Excellent hotel with a prime location only 5 minutes walk to the Tianmen Shan cable car. The room was spotlessly clean, bright and had useful smart features. Staff were friendly, professional and efficient – check-in/out was very smooth. The breakfast offered a good mix of Western and local options. Everything felt well-organised and cozy. Stayed here for a few nights and it was absolutely brilliant. The location is spot on – right opposite the cable car, and you’ve got everything you need just downstairs. Room was clean, tidy and the bed was proper comfy. Breakfast had plenty to choose from and the coffee hit the spot. But what really made it was the staff – they’re absolute legends. Helped us sort everything from pick-ups to tickets, and even gave us a few local tips that weren’t in the guides. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they did it all with a smile. Felt relaxed and well looked after the whole time. Definitely recommend this place if you’re after an easy, no-hassle stay in Zhangjiajie. Top stuff!
