The room was large and very well furnished. We were amazed by the cleanliness. The beds were large and extremely comfortable. Anyways my stay at this Cheng Yuan was enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant and relaxing accommodation experience nearby the Great Wall. The coffee is good by the way.

My friends and I stayed 2 nights in relax homestay. The rooms were very clean and well designed. The personel was very attentive and kind. They have been super patient since we speak very little chinese, find us good places to eat and offered to guide us to a sunset hidden spot. This was my second time at Derunju Guesthouse. This time I cycled from Beijing via the Ansi Road, which turned out to be much easier but less scenic than the Huaichang Road. I stayed for two nights. I thoroughly enjoyed the warm welcome of the proprietress and the ample and delicious food she prepared for me. I can recommend the pork roasted with chestnuts and the pancakes! The room was spacious and painstakingly clean. Fast internet is available. Great views from the terrace and a short stroll to the Water Great Wall Park entrance and downtown.
