I loved the location in the old town and the tasteful decoration with really nice details and attention. Also the manager Lili gave very useful tips on what to do in Kunming and assisted me with travel arrangements as well !

Overall my recent stay at Intercontinental Kuming is with absolute satisfactory. Especially I was very happy for the assistance by the Concierge te4am. Mr Smulin was very helpful to me such as buying new air tickets to other city of China and further amendments as well as arrangement for my airport transfer. He was always very active with quick responses, willing to help and did his best. If I was asked, I would give him and his concierge team at Intercontinental Kuming the full score 10 out of 10. Wonderful stay – amazing staff! We had a great experience at Atour Light Dongfeng Hotel in Kunming. Special thanks to the two staff at check-in – they were incredibly welcoming, kind, and helpful. The check-out team was also friendly and efficient. Rooo was perfect. The whole staff really made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

Very helpful kind staff despite language barrier. Complementary breakfast, drinking water and dinner for the guests. Variety of options with local food varieties. House keeping everyday. The food market nearby. The location was so central. We could reached important places we wanted to visit very cheaply and easily. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for comfortable stay in Kunming.

This was our first stop in Yunnan and I have to say the hotel was amazing! It must be quite new, as everything still looks very sparkly! Rooms are super functional, nice size and very pretty. Every restaurant we went was great! The breakfast buffet is amazing! We had a buffet dinner there for New Year's Eve and it was super good too. Once we had a small snack in the lobby lounge on the ground level and the food was also fantastic and so was the staff! Bonus points for the next door shopping mall which is very cool too. Would definitely recommend when in Kunming.

It was not in the center of the city but very easy to get to. 20min by metro from the old city part and 25min from the train station. It was clean and no noises
