It was exceptional - from the location, comfort, hospitality, quality and food. It was a dream from the start to finish and cannot believe I only stayed one night, I could spend the whole week here. Such lovely staff so helpful and accommodating and great English too. They helped us book a tour and even got us a discount as well. It was an amazing experience.

There are tables by the river where you can have your meals. It's so quiet and peaceful, you barely notice the other guests because there's so much space between the tables. We walked through the nearby rice paddies, enjoyed the mountains, the rafts floating along the river. You can also hire scooters for the day - so cheap! Food caters to both Chinese and Western tastes. I loved the French toast. They also have a restaurant inside the hotel itself. Staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms remind you of an old style chalet and the ones on the ground floor open out to the riverbank. You can sit outside your room and have a drink. So peaceful and private. In the chaos of a tourist town, it's just what you need.

The 90-degree high-temperature laundry service is, without a doubt, a game-changer. We were able to pack light, knowing we could properly sanitize and refresh our entire wardrobe in a few hours. This level of cleanliness extends throughout the property; the offer of sealed, disposable towels and bath towels was a modern touch we've rarely seen and highly valued. The gym allowed us to maintain our routine, and the extensive breakfast buffet provided sustained energy for long days of hiking and cycling. Lanshan Moon Hotel is an absolute hidden gem in YangShuo. Their rooms are clean, tasteful, affordable & modern with the most picturesque view of the fields and mountains. The most impressive of our stay is the hostel owner and staff’s hospitality—- they are extremely attentive , offering full concierge service— from booking any tickets to nearby attractions and shows, to driving and guiding you around town, and would even turn on the heater or AC of your room ahead of your return. This 5 star treatment, along with the affordable yet beautiful room made our stay extremely enjoyable, I would most definitely recommend to all my friends and family visiting Yangshuo. The staff - Like Mark Ma - were attentive and so professional and went out of their way to provide tips on where and what to do in both. The location was perfect and close to all the main tourist sites. The room was amazing and had a perfect view of some of the mountains.

I stayed at the Zen Hotel for two nights and had the most wonderful experience. The hotel is surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty—overlooking majestic mountains and endless pink lotus fields. My room was spotlessly clean, and the view from the window was simply awe-inspiring. As a solo female traveler, I deeply appreciated the warm and attentive staff. A special thank you goes to Karlie, who made my stay truly special. On her day off, she generously offered to show me around. We explored the surroundings on an e-scooter, went bamboo rafting, and shared plenty of laughter. It felt just like spending time with a close friend. Thank you, lovely Karlie, for your kindness and companionship—you made my time in Yangshuo so memorable.To sum it up: a wonderful hotel, fantastic staff, and a highly recommended experience for anyone visiting Yangshuo.
