We stayed in the family room, which was gorgeous with a hanging bed, hot tub and projector. There was a terrace with views of the Great Wall. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, even driving my family to the Great Wall entrance.

The hotel provided great customer service driving us to and from the Great Wall. Collecting us when we were ready. Stanley went out of his way to assist. We also booked a driver from the airport directly to hotel and then onto our hotel in Beijing the next day.

Everything was great, from the food to the location to the rooms and the roof terrace overlooking the Great Wall. While the price was a little high compared to other places of this standard, you cannot beat it for its location and the serenity of the environment that it is situated within. The staff are great and do their best to make sure that you have what you need and when you need it. The views from the room, if it isn't foggy, are simply stunning and time seems to stand still when you are staying there. Stan kindly provided us with transport to and from the Great Wall and this helped to set up a wonderful day for us.
