Excellent hotel with a prime location only 5 minutes walk to the Tianmen Shan cable car. The room was spotlessly clean, bright and had useful smart features. Staff were friendly, professional and efficient – check-in/out was very smooth. The breakfast offered a good mix of Western and local options. Everything felt well-organised and cozy. Choosing a hotel is really not an easy task—there are so many beautiful options, and it’s hard to decide. Eventually, I went with my travel companion’s recommendation and chose Peak Secret. It turned out to be a wonderful choice—a private courtyard, not crowded at all, and the room was beautifully decorated with lots of Chinese and local Zhangjiajie elements. Visiting Zhangjiajie in December truly offers great value for money. Although the temperature is a bit low, there are far fewer tourists, which means no waiting in long lines. We had easy access to both Tianmen Mountain and Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. The staff helped arrange drivers and tour guides for us, and everything went smoothly. I really love it here, and I’d like to thank Wendy and Lucas once again for all their help.

Stayed here for a few nights and it was absolutely brilliant. The location is spot on – right opposite the cable car, and you’ve got everything you need just downstairs. Room was clean, tidy and the bed was proper comfy. Breakfast had plenty to choose from and the coffee hit the spot. But what really made it was the staff – they’re absolute legends. Helped us sort everything from pick-ups to tickets, and even gave us a few local tips that weren’t in the guides. Nothing was too much trouble for them, and they did it all with a smile. Felt relaxed and well looked after the whole time. Definitely recommend this place if you’re after an easy, no-hassle stay in Zhangjiajie. Top stuff!

I was on business trip and had one weekend off that I used to visit Zhangjiajie. I was traveling alone and not speaking any Chinese. The stay was amazing, thanks to the hotel personnel. It was the best. Being picked up at the airport, the transports to the house, breakfast a back. Especially using google translate conversation app, makes it very easy and good to communicate. The lovely people can arrange everything for you. All thanks for taking care! You gave me an amazing experience!
