Our stay at this hotel was nothing short of fantastic. The hotel itself is large and beautiful from the outside, and its location couldn’t be better—right next to the Tianmen Mountain Cableway Company, just a few minutes’ walk away. From the high-speed rail station, it only took about 10 minutes by car, which was very convenient. We also appreciated the ample parking available. The front desk staff gave us the warmest welcome and provided thorough explanations about the area. We were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade, and the room was spacious with great facilities. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered stunning views, and everything in the room was well-equipped. The zero-pressure mattress was incredibly comfortable, and we felt secure with the elevator key card system. The complimentary fruits and desserts were a lovely touch. Overall, this hotel offers excellent value for money, and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie!

As a frequent traveller from Singapore, I’ve stayed in many accommodations, but this homestay in Zhangjiajie truly stands out. From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was exceptional—staff helped with my luggage and even waved goodbye when I left. The design of the place is stunning, with a beautiful blend of nature and modern elements. The wooden interiors, large windows, and serene surroundings made me feel completely relaxed. The dinner was simple yet delicious, much better than some restaurants I’ve tried. This is the perfect place to unwind, and I’d love to come back for a weekend getaway. Highly recommended!

We had a most pleasant stay at The Sky Gate Hotel. The complimentary station transfer was a welcome and efficient start. The location is truly superb, right in the city centre and merely a street away from the Tianmen Mountain cable car. The abundance of shops and restaurants at the doorstep is ideal for exploring the local culture. Our room was impeccably clean and comfortable, with particularly good quality bedding ensuring a restful night. The staff were the highlight – genuinely helpful and polite. They assisted us in booking taxis and offered excellent advice for planning our excursions, which proved invaluable. A solid choice for any traveller to Zhangjiajie. Highly recommended.

The location is very convenient with plenty of amenities and dining options nearby. Excellent value for money. The front desk offered welcome tea which was a nice touch. The room was clean and tidy, and we loved the cute towel swan! Staff were all very warm and helpful. A great hotel, highly recommend.

Our stay at the hotel was thoroughly enjoyable. The location is splendid, offering convenient access to the main scenic spots, and the atmosphere is pleasantly tranquil. Our room was spacious and well-appointed, with a balcony providing absolutely lovely mountain views – it felt rather like waking up in a landscape painting. The breakfast was quite impressive, with a professional selection that caters well to international guests. We were particularly pleased with the service; the staff were consistently helpful and polite. Special mention must be made of Wendy, who arranged our airport transfer in advance and assisted with ticket bookings and itinerary planning – all handled with commendable efficiency. All in all, a most agreeable base for exploring Zhangjiajie. Would certainly recommend to fellow travellers seeking comfort and convenience in this remarkable region.
