Excellent location with stunning views that made the stay feel really special. The room was beautifully designed, spotless, and very comfortable, with high-quality facilities throughout. It was exceptional - from the location, comfort, hospitality, quality and food. It was a dream from the start to finish and cannot believe I only stayed one night, I could spend the whole week here. Such lovely staff so helpful and accommodating and great English too. They helped us book a tour and even got us a discount as well. It was an amazing experience.

There are tables by the river where you can have your meals. It's so quiet and peaceful, you barely notice the other guests because there's so much space between the tables. We walked through the nearby rice paddies, enjoyed the mountains, the rafts floating along the river. You can also hire scooters for the day - so cheap! Food caters to both Chinese and Western tastes. I loved the French toast. They also have a restaurant inside the hotel itself. Staff are helpful and friendly, the rooms remind you of an old style chalet and the ones on the ground floor open out to the riverbank. You can sit outside your room and have a drink. So peaceful and private. In the chaos of a tourist town, it's just what you need.
