The manager and staff were quite helpful, kind (we got extra drinking water every day of our stay), even the language was still a bit problem.
This place is in the North side of the old town, which is more quiet than the South side. If you like a peaceful rest time in the night, this place may answer the question.

It has to be said that this trip to Lijiang was quite good. After booking a hotel, a gentle girl immediately contacted us and would send us the intersection near the inn. When we arrived at the hotel, the inn girl would patiently explain to us the various check-in points in Lijiang. The only regret was that we didn't get a ticket to the snowy mountain when we arrived late. Otherwise, the girl could still help us group up, and the itinerary was really not enough. I can only say that I have a reason to come to Lijiang again next time. The most heartwarming thing is that it's already early in the morning, and the little sister even cooked hot water with us. Great, I'll definitely stay with them next time I come. Rose Celebration

The hotel is great, the service is very good. As we have just arrived in Lijiang and are not familiar with them, we will chat with them and provide you with free consultation. We will recommend delicious and fun things that do not make mistakes. At the same price, we also bought VIP seats that will last for a long time in Lijiang. The hotel is very quiet and the location is easy to find. It is on the roadside and can be directly located by taxi, which is much easier to find than the homestays in the ancient city. You can sit and rest in the public area on the third floor and watch the night view of the Old Town of Lijiang, which is highly recommended

In 20 years the lovely, quiet and quaint town of Lijiang has developed like no other, become a tourist magnet (seemingly mostly for Mainland Chinese tourists) and has almost completely lost its charm... unless you wake up early and walk in the deserted streets at sunrise (before 8am). From morning onward it is choking with tourists, even in low season (can't imagine high season !!), discos at night become restaurants during the day, and the whole place is just guesthouses, retail shops and restaurants. Even old ladies selling strawberries can't give change on 20 yuan and ask for payment by AliPay or WeChat Pay!!
Shuhe and Baisha are no better, victim of their "heritage" status that has completely destroyed the soul of those places.
Luckily, with electric cars and electric scooter the air is fairly pure and the sky still blue. It makes for nice photos, but forget originality. A very good example of a UNESCO Heritage site that has become a victim of its success... go and visit before it's even worse, but in low season please............

The staff were fantastic.
The staff were fantastic. In particular the manager Joye accommodated every request we made and did it with a smile and genuine sense of friendship.
We needed some complicated forward planning and both travel and accommodation reservations to be made. Mr Joye assigned a very nice, intelligent and competent young lady named Cassie who did an amazing job and we are now traveling again with all of her advice and recommendations proving to be excellent.
We would throughly recommend using this, and most of the staff speak English.

It was a nice ancient town to walk round and was very picturesque.
The good thing was that it was car free. Unfortunately the shops sell most of the same things. The places to visit around Lijiang were easy to visit by car.

Lijiang is a wonderful town.
Lijiang is a wonderful town. A great place to get a glimpse of China's past. The Local Naxi people are colourful and friendly. Beautiful sights all within walking distance of the Old Town. Highly recommended.
Great Yunnan traditional food in the Old Town at "Yun Xue Li" (Yunnan Snow Lijiang) - 云南省丽江市古城区七一街兴文巷95号
A great vegetarian buffet (at only 18RMB per person) in the new town is Auspicious Vegetarian Restaurant Building 6, Jinkai Plaza Complex Building, Gucheng district. This is about 10 minutes walk from the North gate of the Old town.

The Old Town is ok for a walk through, but it's really touristed. The original old town is still there, but it's not that will maintained. If you're going to higher altitude, use it as a stop over.
The hotel is conveniently located near the ancient city, just a three minute walk away. The hotel's facilities are also good, and the bathrooms are dry and wet separated. The boss's service is particularly good. Once you place an order, he will proactively contact you and provide you with airport or station pick-up services. Remind you of the weather conditions and precautions in Lijiang. The boss will also provide you with other assistance, such as arranging travel itineraries, introducing delicious food, and even printing documents.
The room we stayed in was spacious, clean, and well-maintained. The facilities were excellent and suitable for our needs. The location of the hotel is right in the center of the old town. We were able to walk to many of the main attractions, making this room convenient base for exploring the city.
We were impressed by the owner. She was welcoming, attentive to our needs, and went out of her way to ensure our stay was enjoyable. We particularly enjoyed the local breakfast that the owner took us to. Thanks again for everything Sisi :D
Location was perfect for visiting the ancient town. Breakfast was good. The layout of the hotel was interesting and liked that there were several entrances into the old town. Staff were attentive especially Kokole (? spelling) who cleaned the three rooms we occupied. On the last night, she even left the door to the safe opened as a reminder that I had items in the safe. Very thoughtful. The hotel compound was beautiful and well maintained. Shame there were no balconies to sit and view the gardens from the upstairs rooms.
One word: Joye King, one the property managers. He is fluent in English, extremely helpful and without him, our stay in Lijiang would have been not as memorable. He organized all our tours, and very attentive to our needs and wishes. He also booked for us transportation to our next destination. We couldn’t thank him enough for his care and customer service. We stayed in the newly renovated property, with big single beds, clean and very comfortable.
We liked everything very cozy place.Great place in Baisha village , after we visited Lijiang old town which is not nice at all we moved to Baisha with not much expectations and than magic happened. It is beautiful small village and Flamingo is probably the best place in Baisha. Highly recommended! Staff is also very nice and professional gave us a good advices for local and western food and some coffee shops. They gave us a small map as well
This is a beautiful boutique quaint gem of a place in Lijiang. It has a stunning view from the dinning room window of the rooftops in Lijiang. It is perfectly located, right in the middle of the Old Town Lijiang. The staff of this hotel is friendly, helpful and with a "I can help you with that" attitude. It was wonderful to spend Christmas here.
I liked the location, it was close to the railway station, the ancient town, and a good location for other activities in Lijiang. The room was spacious and pretty clean. The breakfast was a basic Chinese breakfast. The staff was kind, and had a couple English speakers. They helped me with booking bus tickets and cars around Lijiang.
The best place in Lijiang. Jessy is an amazing host and will make your trip to Lijiang and Yunnan magical and super easy. In China there's nothing better than having a great local host. She even helped us after we left Lijiang and we were lost on a trail in Tiger Leaping Gorge. Highly highly recommend!!!
A pretty good location nearby Lijiang Da Yan Old Town.
Wonderful staff, ready to help at any moment. We were greeted with tea and cake.
They also helped with transfer (free of charge) from the train station to the hotel. During our trip to the mountains, they provided driver services at a good price.
It was a wonderful hotel with a very relaxed vibe - perfect. The staff could not have been more helpful both before and during the visit. A great location to explore the old town. The rooms were lovely and comfortable. I wish I had stayed for a longer period of time!
The time spent at this hotel was the most memorable of the trip. The hotel staff is very friendly! We knew very little about Lijiang. They helped us and we gave them vodka we bought in China. It was an unforgettable trip.
The location of this hotel meant that we could access the beautiful old town of Shuhe from the quiet 'local' end, and avoid the main tourist area. Great service and delicious food!
The location is perfect. The scenery is so beautiful. The staff is incredibly warm and helpful. They make you feel like you’re at home. The hotel and facilities are lovely.
The food cooked at the hotel was exceptional, very well cooked, had a very homely feel to it. The staff were extremely friendly and they were super helpful as well.
