Thank you Patrick and Nico for being so hospitable and nice and solving the problem with our bookings! Our cabin was cosy and comfortable and the one dinner we had was really good. We brought our own food for our other meals and breakfast and that worked fine. Next time we’ll come, Nico will certainly have learnt how to pronounce Lago Nordenskjöld correctly. 🤗

Outstanding location, the views are breathtaking. The staff is super friendly, perfectly fluent in English. The food was the best I've eaten in Chile. The whole eco-concept is going beyond simple recycling, they are trying as hard as it gets to function sustainably.

This place is magical! The location feels remote, far away from the world. The drive over is beautiful, the estancia so picturesque, with horses and sheep wondering about. Laguna Verde is a stone's throw away, the mountains are visible from the very large living room window. There is a fireplace to complete the picture of a cosy getaway. Plenty of space, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Can we please stay here forever?!

We were confused by the unhappy reviews - for a camping place this was excellent (and really good value for an area where things are super expensive). We had a huge glamping tent (can stand and pack / repack bags easily), they provided hot water bottles and an extra blanket (which we put under us and totally prevented any upward draft of air), the duvets were super thick and cosy, the air mattress really comfortable. The restaurant was also very welcome for a filling dinner (pizza or burgers) after a big hike. The toilets were spotless. Francisca, another lady who did our hot water bottles and the gentleman who checked us in were all really friendly and helpful. Also super close (20 min drive) to the beautiful mirador Ferrier hike. About 1hr15 to the Mirador Las Torres hike starting point.

If you plan to visit Torres del Paine and if you want to make your stay comfortable and affordable you have to stay in Estancia Dos Elianas. It is located +-30 minutes from the main entrance of the Torres del Paine nature park. It is a ranch on the countryside in the middle of the nature. The rooms are separate cabins which are warm and very well decorated. The breakfast is very good and extensive. The woman who does the reception and the breakfast is very friendly and smiling all the time and is willing to help you with everything.
