The best shared kitchen we have ever seen, extremely well quipped, so many spices you can use, very clean and even a bbq and pizza oven. We cooked every evening. Breakfast was great and a lot of food. When we left early in the morning we even got it to go in a cooling bag! The facilities were amazing. The room was great, super clean with a fridge in the room. The bed had a heating blanket so it was always warm during the night. The garden is very nice, you can park your car there. The host was extremely nice and helpful. After 3 months in South America one of the best hotels we had!!!

Lovely room (the El Refugio building not the other hotel). Beautiful bathroom & nice little terrace overlooking the landscapes garden. Pool and outdoor sun terrace also lovely - nice to be able to relax after a long day of touring. Walkable into town (10 min walk).

The location is excellent, in downtown, close to restaurants, tour business, etc. Although it is in downtown, it is still a quiet and relaxing location. Breakfast was amazing. It is not the buffet style breakfast but you order from the menu and you can order as much as you want. Everything was well prepared, fresh and tasty. The breakfast pan amasado was amazing. The pool area was quiet, nicely decorated with comfy chairs and towels available. It is an outdoor pool. The rooms were nicely decorated with high quality sheets, mattress and pillows. It was clean and bottles of waters were left everyday in the room (for free). The bathroom was big, of a modern design with nice bathrobes available. Showers were great. Their products (shampoo, conditioner, soap, body cream) where all in big bottles (no struggling to make sure you had enough) and where high quality. Even small tins of lip protection are available (weather can be hot and dry). Wifi is available and works well. All personnel was professional, very helpful and very friendly. Overall, it is a great place to stay. I will definitely stay there again if I travel to beautiful San Pedro de Atacama again.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. We got extra breakfast in the first day. It felt like I was in a cottage surrounded by trees in the middle of a desert. I could relax and disconnect from the world. All was new and clean. The room was spacious. Staying at this place was very convenient. Electricity and water shortages happen a lot in the region, but they have ways to mitigate these issues in the hotel. We were unaware of what was going on with the locals in San Pedro de Atacama. This was the only recurring issue that I read in the reviews. It did happen that there was a quick power outage for a few minutes and the water got cold. I did not care to ask for help because this happened during the day and the water temperature was what I needed after spending the day in the desert, but when I chose to seek help for solving this at 1AM after coming back from an astronomical tour, they promptly solved the problem. Having traveled a bit in South America to destinations far away from big cities, my opinion is that this place is great. I would stay at this place again if I go back to Atacama!

Everything they do at this hotel, they don’t really well. They really care about you as the customer being happy. Helped with many things such as organizing transfer to airport, travel agencies etc. Private secure parking is a real plus. Breakfast very good offering carefully selected high quality products. Calm and secure The only accommodation during my 4 weeks travel in South America that asked me a feedback about my stay. A little more costly than others in San Pedro but totally worth it.
