Staff was super helpful and friendly, helped with booking taxis and provided some tour information. The breakfast included freshly baked bread (Chilean pan amasado) and churrascas. The landscape view from the rooms is breathtaking. Shower water pressure and temperature was perfect, specially after a long trekking day. The hotel also has a nice lobby area where you can enjoy a 24/7 free tea. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Staying here was one of our highlights in our trip to Chile. Puerto Bories is outside Puerto Natales - with scenic views of snow capped mountains and walking distance to the Singular hotel. The Guest House is stunningly designed including the rooms and the shared lounges. This is family run and Carlos and his wife have high attention for detail. There is a honesty bar so you can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening after trekking. Carlos gave us advice about what to do and also booked the trip to Bernardo O'Higgins national park - with a boat that departs about 5 mins walk away.

And when we had to go to Torres del Paine National Park we had our breakkie on time and super early; -> Our room has a gorgeous view; -> Very clean and tidy. We really enjoyed our stay; -> The restaurants we ate at were so delicious. The owner dropped us off at the restaurant Santolla. So sweet of her.

Small cozy town with lots of restaurants and small shops with souvenirs and handmade handcrafted articles. The artisanal villages are also nice to find beautiful local art and crafts. Go explore little restaurants they have excellent food from chile from delicious empanadas to king crab dishes like “Chupe” that are worth to try. We stayed at Casa Verde 10 minutes in the car from the city center. The owners were really friendly and we felt so welcomed there. Everything is this hotel is clean and comfortable. The bed amd bathroom were fantastic and the view from our room was unforgettable. The owners are korean and have a dinner menu to die for! We tried some dishes like bibimbap and bulgogi beef that were incredibly delicious. We are so happy we stayed here it made our trip more special and enjoyable.

We say PN on three different days, while transiting for...

We say PN on three different days, while transiting for various activities -- a windy cold and rainy day, that was just about getting food and groceries before heading north to Torre Del Paine -- a sunny day, that was still very windy and cold -- and finally, a beautiful warm california like day, that was stunning for it's views (and I'm told rare). We enjoyed walking around town and buying some gifts. A day or two for a layover makes for a way to wind down from hiking. The airport is limited, but good. We enjoyed watching the ducks (or they might be black neck geese) in the water, the rabbits at Remota (Lodge).

I liked the working class feel of the town and the fact that it's an important port. All the people we met were extremely kind and friendly. Being a 2+ hour drive to TDP was somewhat challenging but I'm a decent driver and enjoy it so it wasn't that bad. Also the views on the drive as you get closer to the national park are spectacular. PN has it's share of grocery stores, shops, and restaurants.

Loved the place which has a unique charm of small town where people are so friendly and helpful Driving was a bit challenging as it wasn’t clear which street were having only one way so I found myself twice driving the wrong way on one way street but both times other local drivers made me aware of this- so certainly I wasn’t the only one doing this; giving way was confusing as well at some intersections as not very clear who had priority; so many cafes, restaurants, little shops- just lovely very easy to go around;

We loved strolling along the waterfront in Puerto Natales, taking in the stunning mountain and fjord views - especially beautiful at sunset. The town center was charming, full of cozy shops and local crafts. Getting around was easy since Puerto Natales is small and very walkable, so you don’t really need a car unless you’re heading out to Torres del Paine. Our trip was packed with unforgettable experiences. We tackled the challenging but rewarding hike to the base of the Torres del Paine, where the towering granite spires and turquoise glacial lake left us speechless. We also enjoyed the Tour Lago Grey, about 104 km from town, where we got close to the impressive Grey Glacier and admired the iconic Cuernos del Paine. A visit to the Cueva del Milodón Natural Monument, located roughly 26 km north of Puerto Natales, gave us a fascinating glimpse into the region’s ancient past. For meals, we savored local flavors at Mesita Grande, where we tried guanaco meat cooked in traditional style. We stocked up on groceries at Unimarc Puerto Natales and Frutería La Sureña, which had everything we needed. To explore the area comfortably and at our own pace, we rented a Toyota Rush, a 7-seater SUV, from EMSA Rent A Car Avis sublicense for four days (10–14 April 2025), paying a total of 354,000 CLP. Over the course of our trip, we drove about 900 km, which gave us great flexibility. We also took an easy and affordable bus transfer from Puerto Natales Rodoviario station to Punta Arenas Terminal Bus-Sur.

Apart from being the start point for Torres del Paine Park, Puerto Natales has a great Municipal Museum ( very well curated in English as well as Spanish) and v good 'industrial museum' located in the Singular Hotel (5km along fiord from town). Singular is upmarket hotel with good coffee and light snacks - they refund the 5000 peso/person museum entrance fee if any money spent in restaurant/cafe - well worth it.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Puerto Natales. The receptionists were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. A special mention goes to James Gador, who went above and beyond—he helped us book a taxi to the bus station on the day we traveled to the national park, and even kindly lent us cash for the ride when we needed it. We were truly grateful for his generosity and outstanding service. Highly recommended!

We booked this hotel for before and after our Torres del Paine trip. The hotel was warm, cosy and welcoming. They were also very accommodating of our early start time (serving us breakfast before our 7am bus) and looked after our luggage during the trek. The hotel was also very close to the bus station, and it was easy to walk to the centre of Puerto Natales.

I had a superbly pleasant and comfortable stay at Hostal Kuntur during in trip in Chilean Patagonia. Ms. Ingrid went above and over to ensure I did not face any problem. Rooms and bathrooms are extremely clean, location is perfect and they provide laundry service too. If you visit Puerto Natales then do stay at Hostal Kuntur, you will have a great time here.

We had a great time in hotel Capitán Eberhard. The room was comfortable and warm. We enjoyed a good breakfast with a beautiful view on the sea and the montains. This hotel is ideally situated very near the center. A quiet place with real character. Extremely friendly, helpful staff as well.
