Was one of the nicest place we been staying in Chile and must say in the world. New, modern hotel in the forest . Nice decorated makes connection to the nature. We been traveling out of the season and get full servise , even we been only one guests . Food, drinks, staff are excellent . The room is spacious , WARM ! cosy, Area is nice you can just walk around in the garden and forest in the morning, peaceful. Want to come back. Definitely regiment!

The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. All the staff in general very attentive. Beautiful and very cosy hotel in the centre of the city. Delicious breakfast with local products. They even helped us to plan our routes around. Definitely a hotel I would come back! Thank you

We had an awesome stay at Maki - the room was very clean, bright, modern and comfortable. The breakfast each morning was fantastic, and the location was brilliant. The stand out for us was the exceptional reception staff who went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. They helped us book tours, provided great recommendations and were very flexible and accommodating. If you are paying at the property, you will need to pay by credit card or cash (debit card incurs a substantial fee), so we had to get out cash (pesos) and then convert it to USD at a local currency exchange kiosk. Was easy enough to do but was unexpected. Would highly recommend Maki! We loved our time in Pucon.

Hotel staff is really nice, location is great, it has a private parking lot and breakfast is nice too. We got a room with a clear view of the volcano, which was awesome. The bed was comfortable, the room size is great and it was very well cleaned.

Pucon is great, I spend ~6 months there last year.

Pucon is great, I spend ~6 months there last year. Food is not consistently great but Trawen never disappoints. Try your sopaipilla with queso and merken! Walk a bit out of the center to a frutería and load up on berries and other great produce in the summer. Souvenirs/artesanía are better outside of town (and further south). If you find something cool, just buy it, you might not find it again :)

The city center is very beautiful, it is very safe and we can connect with nature without walking for so long, it is very easy to buy souvenirs and eat in the best places, homemade food made by traditional families, Ubers are very cheap and we can learn a lot of culture, without a doubt a fascinating place.

Pucon is an excellent place to plan a short visit to.

Pucon is an excellent place to plan a short visit to. Driving off Rte 5 (the main spine road of Chile) we nearly stopped at Villarica but were very pleased that we had pressed on to see what Pucon was like. Both are great towns but we are glad we stayed in Pucon. The beach on the lake was lovely and there are lots of lively restaurants and bars in the small town.

Such a lovely town with a bustling centre with plenty of restaurants and souvenir shops. A short walk took us to the beautiful, although busy, beach by the lake. On the other side of the peninsula was the marina and the opportunity to hire a yacht. Ever present was the amazing backdrop of the volcano, occasionally giving off a puff of smoke. Our trip was in summer, and clearly winter is equally attractive for snow sports.

Pucon's a beautiful city where you can do as much or as...

Pucon's a beautiful city where you can do as much or as little you want, especially if you're young and adventurous. But there are also plenty of nice shops and restaurants if that's more you're thing. And the scenery is gorgeous. The only real downside is that it's an expensive place by Chilean standards. Even by American standards, it's not cheap. It's also about an hour and a half drive from the nearest airport, which only has flights to Santiago and Punta Arenas. There is good transport between there and Pucon, though, so you don't have to rent a car if you don't want to.

Pucon is perfect.

Pucon is perfect. It is a very small town, like a village, with lush nature and very friendly locals. If you enjoy peace, relaxation or enjoying nature with trails and sports, this is the ideal place for that. The volcano that makes up the city makes everything even more magical. You can also go there to ski, enjoy the snow and bathe in the hot springs.

The landlord Walter was extremely helpful and made me feel very welcome. Importantly Walter speaks excellent English which is rare in this part of Chile. The venue has real character and is very conveniently located. I had the single room which is small but nice and sufficient for my purposes and excellent value for money. Would definitely come back if I'm back in the location.

perfect hotel to relax but very close to the Center of pucon where you can do all the activities. the hotel is beautifully decorated and every room has a view of the beautiful lake. we ate in the restaurant a couple of times and the food was just amazing every time. the staff is also super friendly and helpful. strongly recommend

The hostel was clean, and nicely decorated. The living room was great for relaxing and meeting other guests. There was a big kitchen, and breakfast was really good. There were heaters everywhere, so it wasn't cold! The receptionists and owner were super friendly. It was easy to walk anywhere in Pucón from here!
