Everything: the special traditional design, the extremly comfortable and big beds, the modern with a traditional twist bathroom, the friendly staff and the tasty food at the dinner. What a special place!

We were blown away when arriving at Hosteria Pionero. The surroundings were beautiful, clean, welcoming, and felt like home. The house itself, its interior design and facilities were extremely nice. We felt like in a castle. Very welcoming and friendly host who spoke English explained all details with ease, offered dinner and breakfast to book, recommended her favorites and shared details about the house rules (e.g. dinner and breakfast time, when the common area and bar was opened). She also advised us on where to eat in the area and what to see around. The only downside of the place was the lack of warm water which did not run at all during our stay.

It is located in the middle of nowhere, but close to Torres Del Paine park. The road to the park is in a good condition so you can quickly reach the park. The room was good and had a nice interior. Beds were really comfortable. They provide a great breakfast and hostess is really nice and helpful.
