This is an outstanding property right on the shoreline of Castro. We had views of dolphins and seals every morning with our delicious breakfast and our room on the third floor was one of the best we stayed at. I highly recommend 10 / 10.

The location is a bit of out of downtown so it is quiet and overlooks the bay. The restaurant on site for dinner is lovely with a great view. The breakfast room is beautiful and serves a great breakfast. Rooms were well appointed

A luxury modern/rustic cabin for 2 people with an exceptional location in the middle of a forest. Private terrace with jacuzzi overseeing the forest, Castro city and the bay. Extremely clean bathroom, bedroom and kitchenette. Super comfy bed. Huge breakfast served to our room at the time of our choosing with local cheese, avocado, a selection of cold meats, milk, youghurt, jam, natural juices and incredible bread (they bake it themselves). All appliances working including a Bose bluetooth speaker, perfect for enjoying the complimentary bottle of wine to soft music in the jacuzzi at night. Gloria y Cote are the nicest hosts ever, they treat you truly like family. They were so nice that when I asked for a charcoal grill to make a night barbecue they bought one specially for us! Even though Castro city is close (5 min drive) we went looking for a quiet place to relax but this exceeded our expectations, if you need a place to relax in Chiloé THIS IS IT!!

Location:quiet,beautiful landscape and with a very nice view over the water.Yet only 20 km from Castro.Due the to location, availability of a car is highly recommended..Staff are very friendly and helpful.The restaurant serves really good food.Recommend the use of the hot tub which is located in a beautiful spot.

Castro is a basic Chilloe town. There is walking around the estuary and a beach on the opposite side. The national park with a board walk walk is 30 minutes drive. There are a couple of good restaurants. Two days was plenty of time

I'd been to Castro several times, but this was my first...

I'd been to Castro several times, but this was my first during high season, and I'd advise travelers that unless you like sitting in backed-up traffic ('taco') for long stretches, just avoid Castro from mid-January to late February, when trying to drive from anywhere north of Castro to anywhere south of Castro can take hours. November-December are great, however, and I'm told March is the best month of all. By and large, Chiloé's charms are not to be found in the cities.

Beautiful city; from there you can visit many other equally lovely places. The airport is far too small. Once you enter the departure lounge, you won't find anywhere to shop, and there's only one restroom, which is shared by men and women. Outside the departure area, there are separate restrooms for men and women, and the women's restroom has three toilets.

What I liked most was the nostalgia.

What I liked most was the nostalgia. I remember being here years ago. The people are wonderful, their attentiveness and the way they made everything so easy for me in Villami Hidalgo. And what I liked least? Well, Castro's plaza and surrounding area need more maintenance instead of being improved.

The Lodge is in an incredible location. If you are a nature lover, this is the place for you! The lodge and park guides help to make the visit an adventure and a learning experience. Night hikes, boating to a remote hiking area, trails that are easily accessible were especially appreciated. The lodge is warm, comfortable, and welcoming. We would absolutely send friends and family to stay here. Not t be missed on a trip to Chiloe!

Very cosy cabin, perfect for a few nights in Castro. Location was great (if you have a car and are confident driving on gravel roads), it was very clean and the kitchen was very well equipped! The owners were so kind and helpful, and provided us with firewood as it was cold in the cabin. Would definitely recommend!

Brilliant view and location in Castro. Several restaurants/cafes within walking distance. Parking was a real bonus (pre-book) - management were very helpful as we didn’t prebook prior and sorted us out promptly. Very clean.
