We had an amazing stay. Marcos is a great host and welcomed us with a glass of wine from the Casablanca region. He helped to find wineries in the neighborhood that we could visit for tastings. The refugio has a beautiful garden, comfortable rooms, a relaxing swimming pool area and a cosy shared (large) living room. We would visit again if we ever get back to Chile.

The room and grounds were beautiful, the staff were kind and helpful, and restaurant was lovely. There was an indoor pool and a nice little hike off the back of the property. Perfect for our six year old to explore and keep busy.

La Casa Vinilla is perfectly placed if you want to experience the beautiful Casablanca valley. I really liked going for long morning walks between vines in a picturesque agricultural landscape. With high mountains all around. Where neighbors stop to talk to each other. Old men passing you slowly on their quite rusty bikes. Like walking around in a movie. Or you can buy excellent vine from one of the vineyards close by. La Casa Vanilla is a family stay. With the friendliest people I met among my 11 different accommodations in Chile. Outside your room is a very nice big garden. With flowers and small birds. And a big enough pool. Recommended!

The owner was very nice, spoke great English and helped us organize a trip to a nearby winery Bodegas RE. We really liked the breakfast in the morning. The room was spacious with a private bathroom. Outside area is also super nice. Wifi was working great

Beautiful setting, unbelievable set up with the cabin and views. Wonderful dogs and horses, and the host went out of his way to accommodate a ride. He also delivered bread, charcuterie and wine for us (at no extra cost) and homemade jam.
