Big bed was very comfortable. The new air conditioning was great! Everything was clean and in good working order. Extremely nice people. Location was perfect. Best area on the island. Stunning beach, safe swimming, great snorkelling. The villas are very spacious and solid. I had been worried about noise as shared walls but none at all. Breakfast was delicious and loads to eat. Host/staff attentive but not obtrusive. Very relaxing break.

Everything. Its beautiful. The staff are next level fabulous and so caring helpful and attentive. Friendly but also professional. Papa Tom is so awesome. Reception and check in were also so lovely. We ate in the jalapeño restaurant for dinner and the food and service was amazing. The food at the restaurant is some of the yummiest food ever. The wahu fish in coconut cream and salsa was delicious beautifully cooked tender, fragrant and satisfying. I absolutely love it here and i would feel myself very fortunate to have the opportunity to stay here again. The setting by the ocean is stunning and the gardens and rooms beautifully appointed. Ive never stayed here before and we had only our last night in rarotonga here but its been a dream come true. I can’t believe ive never stayed here before. Feel really special and cared for. Thank you to your amazing team. At the end of the day it is the staff that make the experience for anyone staying here really amazing. Thank you. I feel very grateful to have been fortunate to stay at club raro. Stunning as the wild ginger and frangipanis that scent the entire complex. Gorgeous

I advice people to rent a car or a scooter if they can afford it. If you plan to use the bus, a ten trip ticket costs $35, or $5 for a single trip. If you can, do the turtle watching with a water scooter. The one day Aitutaki trip is brilliant Visit Punanganui Market for the tropical fruits and local produce You have to be early to get maroro

Friendliness of the people of Rarotonga certainly made our stay even better. We ventured down to the local RSA and were warmly welcomed. The markets are everything you hear about -totally worthy of at least two trips We found the dogs pretty friendly but best to avoid going up backroads where they are quite possessive of their properties (fair enough) The roosters of course come with the island and so be prepared for early morning wake-ups!! The amount of terrific food joints is like HEAVEN! There is a wide variety along the roadsides and in town. The beaches are great and safe in the lagoon. Excellent day trips on Koka Lagoon tours (highly recommended) and terrific Cultural night at Te Vara Nui Village. We were there for Vaka Eiva race event where my son was paddling; this was absolutely a place to be - down at Trader Jacks when crew would start & finish their races! Another note -PLEASE be kind to the dogs - Rarotonga people care for them very much ANOTHER note - Rarotongan Bakery near the Oasis garage is TOP~~

We love to swim and snorkel at Rarotonga.

We love to swim and snorkel at Rarotonga. Muri beach and around Black Rock was the best snorkelling areas. We love the culture evening and bbq buffet at On The Beach Restaurant as well as a romantic dinner at Little Polynesian Restaurant. Muri night market was also a highlight to buy special dishes from 5 - 8 pm. We were very happy renting a car from Raro Cars for our 5 days stay. It is easy to get around Rarotonga as it is only 32 km.

We are revisiting Rarotonga after 20 years .. a lot the same .. a lot has changed ! Just four days on Rarotonga itself .. and now In Aitutaki .. more on that anon ! SO relaxing .. kick down a few gears .. and just enjoy .. the island culture .. the white sands, blue sea .. awesome temperatures ... Weather - mostly ok .. Nov, not so much .. but still managed a tan ! Highly recommended for a place to come, read a book, do whatever rocks your boat .. great food .. and absolutely lovely people !!

Best tip I can give you, carry cash, get a local sim (preferably be off the grid but handy for banking transfers) I didn’t carry enough cash so will be mindful next time. Some places the eftpos didn’t accept my card. Pre book your car hire or be game and get a scooter but you will need to get your Cook Islands license and sit a test if you decide to get a scooter - research which places have island night so u can experience the buffet and show best one in Raro I saw was the islander followed by OTB

The location for us is perfect in terms of the fabulous sandy beach, our favourite eateries (Charlie’s and Maire Nui) nearby and walk outside to the best snorkelling (Fruits of Rarotonga). Muri tourist area is close, but you’re not in the thick of it which I like. Importantly it is quiet, comfortable, has air con and everything you need is there on arrival. Host is fabulous with quick response time and nothing a problem. We were 2 couples and found the property big enough to accommodate.

The Cooks Oasis has hospitality down to a T. From the warm welcome, to a comfortable suite with a good bed and attractive decor, the generous fruit basket and flowers, to the thoughtful accommodation of my travel arrangements: it all added up to a great stay. Of the three places I stayed while visiting the Cook Islands, this was my favourite.

We travel often and of the 100+ countries visited accommodation wise, we rate Muri Brach Club Hotel as one our travels best. Staff are amazing, room size large, modern upkeep and well furnished. Right on the beach and has a very large pool. Excellent food and extra touches honour our stay. We WILL be back … again 😀
