Like many reviewers of Hotel Posta, the Breakfast is good which is important when skiing. On offer in winter is a buffet comprising 3 different cereals, plus porridge, fruit, a number of different breads, natural yoghurt, nutella and other spreads, honey, boiled eggs, cheeses, hams, prosciutto, salami, coffee, tea orange juice, apple juice, water. A good range, continuously replenished. In addition the hotel has an excellent restaurant which serves high quality evening meals including vegetarian options. Complimenting this are Cheese board, deserts and a very broad wine list including good local wine and also local beer (meaning real ale/ craft beer). Our room was sizeable with comfortable beds, a good size bathroom and powerful shower. It was also diligently cleaned every day. Last but not least were the staff. They made the real difference. They were genuinely helpful, kind and thoughtful. We really enjoyed our stay because we were looked after and made to feel very welcome. We were quite sad to leave. Further important information that may help you... The ski fields are dispersed, you can ski between most subject to snow and weather conditions. However the road between Andermatt and Dieni is closed in Winter. It's best to use the train. Train tickets for 5 days or longer are available from the Dieni ski lift station. Its about 1 mile from the hotel (easy walk/drive). The tickets enable travel between Andermatt and Disentis and all the stops in-between which allows you to travel between ski fields easily if the connecting lifts are not working or your feeling tired. The nearest train station to the hotel is called Reuras, its a 10 minute walk uphill from the hotel and is served regularly. If you have an epic pass then you can get an unlimited pass covering Andermatt, Sedrun, Disentis ski fields. You can get this at Dieni ski lift station. Switzerland uses a different 3 pin plug from most of Europe. You will need an adapter.

Sedrun is a nice little village, so I was happy to find a room at a good price. I received a room upgrade. The room was spacious and pleasantly decorated, with a balcony facing the back, away from the main street. The owner's daughter was very welcoming and friendly. The coffee in the morning was good, with a generous urn provided. Restaurant on the premises was open, and had several menu options with regional specialities, long with a lot of seating.

We were a group of 5 people. The house had all we could ask for. 3 bedrooms, a huge living room with a balcony and stunning views up to the ski slopes. The kitchen had all amenities we needed and had enough tableware, wine glasses and kitchen equipment. Tons of DVDs, boardgames and even a Wii console are available if you need in-home entertainment. The host was lovely too. All in all a 10/10 Thank you!

The apartment was immaculate and very comfortable. All facilities including kitchen and bathroom were very modern. Was very spacioua for 4 people. Ski room to store all of our gear that was fantastic. Hosts were amazing and responsive and provided great local knowledge for our stay when asked. Would definitely recommend.

Small rustic hotel, well kept with modern touches short walk to everything. Balcony was larger than at similar hotels. You could probably eat dinner out there in the warmer months with a folding table.

Avoid this place at all costs; there are certainly much better options for the same price. I don't consider this accommodation to be a hotel. Booking.com should be more careful about what it lists for its customers.

Incredibly friendly and helpful people.

Incredibly friendly and helpful people. We arrived with a soaked tent and were given a space where we could hang it out. The food was delicious: salmon with tagliatelle and spaghetti. Mountain views, a wonderful shower, and a good breakfast with a good selection. And what a charming village with beautiful, authentic (old) wooden houses. All in all, highly recommended, and we hope to return someday 🤞🏼

We spent four days in Rueras.

We spent four days in Rueras. Rueras is about a 20-minute walk from Sedrun. It's a very pretty village with many original and charming buildings. Near Dieni, also within walking distance, you can go skiing, and there are cross-country ski trails in the valley. A beautiful area with plenty of opportunities for outdoor activities.

Our visit to Aurira GmbH with Priska Berther was informative and welcoming. The tour of the shop was conducted with courtesy, warmth, and a willingness to answer questions. A big bravo to this dedicated lady! Had we had more time, we would have gone gold panning.

A paradise for nature lovers. A breathtaking setting.

A paradise for nature lovers. A breathtaking setting. June is a perfect month here, with some snow still in the mountains and a sea of flowers in the alpine meadows. Nearby are several beautiful mountain passes, such as the Oberalp Pass, from where you can climb to Lake Tomasee (the source of the Rhine), and 40 km further on, the Furka Pass and the Rhone Glacier.

Hotel was in great location for my onward trip down the Lukmanier pass and forward into Italy. My second time staying there and it was as good if not better than I remembered. Owner and staff very friendly. Breakfast superb and restaurant serving lovely food in the evening. Everything about the place is modern and spotlessly clean. Great value for the area.

It's a great family location, absolutely amazing for hopping on the Dieni lift and get skiing without any hassle. For the more adventurous the train going toward Oberalp, Andermatt and it's a picturesque ride. The owners were great and helped us with all that we needed. Place is beautiful, clean, quiet, perfect for that mountain relaxation holiday!

Excellent breakfast. All fresh local produce. Short walk to Sedrun Railway station for access to ski areas and also 40 minute ride to Andermatt for Gemstock area. Restaurant evening meals superb. Interesting menu all cooked to order with fresh local produce. Mac is passionate about his restaurant and it shows!
