Lovely clean, quiet hotel in a small town. The room was on the third floor and only accessible by stairs, but easy to access. The room is a good size. The beds are two singles side by side, rather than a double bed, but that was fine as they were very comfortable. The room was spotlessly clean and we could open the windows for fresh air. The bathroom was a good size and the shower was great with lots of hot water. The wifi was good and there was a TV, desk and wardrobe. No aircon, but it was fine. Breakfast was superb! Huge amount of food, with fresh bread, meat and cheeses, fruit and very good coffee. We didn't have a communication problem even though we spoke no German and they spoke no English. We used google translate. The check in process was very quick, as they live next door. There are restaurants close by and we had no problem finding dinner. Parking is right outside the hotel as well.

Everything was fabulous, clean comfortable, quiet location on the edge of the lake. The hotel called us after we made the booking to advise the restaurant is closed on Mondays so we made alternate arrangements first class customer service

Just what I was looking for friendly staff, comfortable bed warm and quiet with excellent shower, note if coming by car park next to the building on the bahnhoff side. Also the sockets are all narrow 2 pin for if coming from 3 pain UK you'll need a special adaptor for your 3 pin plugs, usual European style round adaptors will not fit.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome and attended to every detail with professionalism and warmth. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean, offering all the comforts I could ask for, including a comfortable bed and modern amenities. The hotel’s facilities were top-notch — I especially enjoyed the relaxing spa and the delicious breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options. Great location for us staying over to watch football in St Gallen. Owner was really helpful and accommodating. The room was fine, clean and comfortable with all the facilities we needed. Very conveniently located for the station. Although only a short stay Wattwil seemed to be a beautiful small town.
