Lovely Swiss hotel with Old World Charm. Loved the bathtub with a beautiful view. Delicious meals as well and enjoyed watching Eurocopa with the Swiss. Pool nice and warm as well. Also enjoyed the sax and guitar music at the birthday celebration.

A wonderful 2 nights spent with a friend at this property enjoying nearby hikes in the beautiful scenery and a relaxing visit to the spa facilities. The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious.

Nice little village situated halfway the mountain.

Nice little village situated halfway the mountain. No cars allowed but the trains stop right in the middle of the village and the cable car to the lake is almost as close. Hiking trails are very nice and provide plenty of views. Not many restaurants but the one open provided nice food. There is one shop with all necessary items. A bit expensive but when food approaches its overdue date, it's offered with 50% discount.

Mount Rigi is one of the most beautiful areas on Earth.

Mount Rigi is one of the most beautiful areas on Earth. Rigi Kaltbad is a start point of hiking with the breathtaking views over mountains, lakes and alpine meadows. It is a car-free area, so one enjoys clean air, clear views and bio berries and vegetables grown on the alpine slopes. Rigi-Kaltbad means pastoral landscapes, peace and absolute harmony.

For being on top of a mountain, there are a lot of things...

For being on top of a mountain, there are a lot of things that are easily accessible. We did some very easy hiking along a wheelchair accessible trail as well as a couple of side trails. The spa is pretty special, as long as the pool going outdoors is open. There are a couple of good restaurants and a couple of mediocre ones. Everything costs what it does in Switzerland: a lot. But it's possible to find pretty decent hotel deals.

Travel method was via boat from Lucerne to Weggis and then cable car to rigi (last is at 1910). Ask for a guest card before your travel day from the hotell so the cable car is half price. Its very expensive if you don't! The views were exceptional, but we wish the beds had been higher so we could see the views when lying down. This was the only fault we found. Our host was lovely. I would recommend this accomidariom if you are visiting the spa! It truly was lush!

The site and the sight from the rooms are clearly the best asset of the hotel, as is the early access to the spa/wellness ! Nevertheless, the main other qualities would be : the quality of the food (breakfast and dinner buffets are great but the best is clearly the menu "à la carte"), and staff from the restaurant super friendly. The beds are large and very comfortable, the rooms are well-sized and the the whole hotel is always super clean.

My fiancée and I stayed a single night at the Hotel- We expected to spend little time at the Hotel, but instead do some hiking in the areas. The weather was NOT in our favour, and we had next to zero visibility. The host kindly upgraded us to an amazing room, which really helped lift our spirits. We'll definitely be back, hopefully with fever clouds littering the sky

Pascal is a great host, and is very enthusiastic about the hotel and the area. The room was very recently renovated, and we had a room with a bath/shower, which was an upgrade to what we had booked. Location is great, of course, with excellent views, and sound of cow bells.
