I have stayed at this hotel several times, and it never disappoints. Large rooms, with the typical Swiss austerity, but large, with comfortable beds, large bathrooms and a small but nice balcony. It has efficient light (blinds) and acoustic insulation (due to the noise of the constant passage of trains). The wi-fi connection is very good. The breakfast buffet is diverse, extensive and generous, with a multitude of products, including hot dishes that are either on the counter or can be ordered from the friendly ladies. Ideal hotel for train travelers, due to its location in front of one of the largest stations in Switzerland, which allows for multiple excursions. In addition, it is one of the hotels in the country with the best quality/price ratio. And if you are also a railway fan, ask for a room with a view of the station: you will really enjoy it.

The Cozy Cove is a really lovely apartment, fully kitted out with excellent facilities. We found it very spacious and comfortable, and with a nice balcony for chilling out in the evening. There is a shopping mall just a short walk away, so everything we needed was on our doorstep. We were visiting from England for the Women's Euros an chose Olten as a convenient base due to its easy train links to the cities hosting the games. The apartment was an easy 5 minute walk from the station which was ideal for that purpose. The host was extremely helpful, allowing to both check in early, and leave a little later. We spent most of our time travelling around to other cities (Geneva, Bern, Basel and Zurich) and our only regret was that we didn't spend more time relaxing at the apartment, as we enjoyed it so much. All in all, we loved our stay.

Beautiful small city in Switzerland.

Beautiful small city in Switzerland. A perfect stop over city should you ever pass through it. Excellent places to eat, a beautiful river running through it and some great shopping. You have to stop by Musik & Vin and pick up some excellent bottles of wine, in particular, buy the local Swiss wines -- absolutley incredible.

Initially the town doesn’t seem anything out of the ordinary but once you discover the old town core, the medieval wooden bridge, the paths and walkways along the river, the shops, restaurants and bars, it really is quite enchanting

Olten is a beautiful city with plenty to offer.

Olten is a beautiful city with plenty to offer. You can enjoy long walks along both sides of the Aare River, and our hike to Aarburg was wonderful. There are also cycle paths. The cultural offerings and the culinary scene are diverse and exciting. It's well worth taking advantage of what Olten has to offer.

Olten is a lovely little town, generally quiet, yet with a pleasantly lively center thanks to the locals – not overrun with tourists. We particularly enjoyed the central museum and the Literature Museum with its lovely audio samples.

Olten is a hidden gem for those who enjoy visiting smaller towns. It boasts a charming old town with many inviting restaurants and cafes. Relaxing walking paths run right along the Aare River. And there's always something going on in this city of authors. For nostalgia buffs, the SBB Historic Depot is a must-see, and right next door, wine lovers will enjoy the Delinathalle with its excellent service.

Although we used Olten as a base for visiting other places, it's a beautiful, lively town. It offers lovely walks and plenty of amenities like supermarkets, restaurants, and the bowling alley where we spent an afternoon. I really loved it and will definitely be back.
