The place is in a calm neighborhood and close to RHEINFALL on foot. If you wish to explore the city, you need to use public transport. There are close-by bus stops to the place, and reaching it from the train station was very easy. There is a nearby market where you can supply anything you need for your stay. The place provides everything you need for a long-term stay. The kitchen is well-equipped. There is laundry, a vacuum, and an iron. Also, board games and books. If you are a family with kids or a crowded group, there is plenty of space for everyone. 2 bathrooms are a big plus! The communication with the host was very easy. He was very helpful. Easy self-check-in! Big PLUS for the FALCON in the area! We would visit this place AGAIN!

Really clean and perfect for our family of 4, right by the bus stop, easy to get into schaffhausen. Could do with some bigger mugs for tea and coffee! Some outdoor furniture on the balcony would be nice. Building work near by but we were only disturbed one morning and then it was quiet all the mornings after. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful.

The lady at the reception was so nice,Room was so clean,nice and very well decorated.Washroom was also very clean. Towels and every necessary things were provided. 10 min walk from the rhein falls and train station and the bus station is just in front of the door. Overall 10/10

The central location was idea for our purpose. A large airy room with bathroom on suite made for a very pleasant stay. The restaurant down stairs served an excellent choice of dishes, but did not disturb us at all.

The room was nice and clean and the staff was helpful on...

The room was nice and clean and the staff was helpful on arrival. However the room was on the second floor with no lift. This is a problem for elderly or limited strength people with more than cabin luggage. Whilst the staff assisted with carrying the suitcases upstairs, no such help was provided on the way out. There is also a bar downstairs with music playing until midnight, which prevented us from sleeping until after the music stopped. There is a bus stop across the road with 10 minute services to Schaffhausen station.

The hotel is located on an ok location, not too far from the waterfall. We could easily get to the watrfall on foot. The hotel even alloved us to leave our car on the parking after the checkout time. They were friendly, the room clean, the breakfast sufficient.

The Rheinfall is a must see.

The Rheinfall is a must see. Many restaurants were closed presumably due to Covid. We had to eat in snack-bars except when we found a Pizza restaurant. The pizza was great. There is not a lot to see in Neuhausen itself apart from the spectacular falls, but there are many possibilities to walk on trails along the banks of the river including to Schaffhausen and accross a bridge to Furlingen. I would recommend staying in Schaffhausen and either walking to the falls or taking a short train ride to Neuhausen. Some of the trails have rather steep inclines so some older people may have difficulties. Neuhausen seems to be more a back-packers hotel location and accomodation is basic but overpriced, certainly where we stayed.

This is a very simple hotel, so don’t expect too much. But it is functional, it is clean, everything is working, and once it didn’t (lamp bulb needed to be changed) they fixed it the same day. There’s even extras - good variety for breakfast with eggs etc, good coffee, and they even bake their own bread, so warm croissants and whole grain buns each morning ! THe hosts are very nice and really make the effort to make it a pleasant stay
