Stoos Lodge is definitely in my favorite list. I would love to visit again to experience winter break. We visited in summer and it was perfect. Here are a few things I want to mention 1. View from the room is mesmerizing. 2. The room was very spacious with the big bathroom, including jacuzzi and sauna. It had French balconies 3. Everything was digitally self managed, including checkin and checkout, as well as a tablet that shows all the info 4. Big play area inside the hotel, an awesome place for families with kids as well 5. The breakfast menu was great, and also, the kids' food menu 6. I was a little worried if we could get everything we needed since the hotel is on mountain but we were impressed by having all the options to buy all basic things and also other restaurants near the hotel. 7. Hiking spots, beautiful views, kind people I can go on writing 😊 since there is so much to enjoy.

This is a proper luxury hotel. We arrived by car and appreciated the roomy parking. The location is no less than excellent, just by the water and if you bring kids, know that there's a big playground very close to the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and staff was very friendly.

Magical location only reachable by a short cable car ride from the town/road. Wonderful hosts, comfortable rooms and characterfully decorated hotel! Dinner was also fabulous. Would love to come back for a longer stay. Highly recommended.

The views are stunning. The hotel is located on top of the town ensuring unobstructed views of the mountains and the tranquility of the countryside. The food is beautiful. I had dinner twice and absolutely loved the veal rosti. Whilst the room is very maximised in terms of space the beds are super comfy and the shower powerful. The best is the staff though. So welcoming, kind and accommodating. They had a table secured for me every night despite of being open to the public and they offered me towels for me and my dog when we arrived soaked the first day :)

Staff were helpful and friendly. Thai restaurant - great food and service. Italian restaurant was average food, slow service because of under staffing and no fault of staff. Go carting was great fun with helpful staff. Enjoyed heated pool but really over crowded. Beautiful location. Apartment was good for our family. Kids had a great time.

Spectacularly beautiful place.

Spectacularly beautiful place. Lots and lots of hiking paths at all difficulties. Aerial cable car to higher regions and quick reliable bus connection to Brunnen (Swiss railway), the lake for swimming, and many other attractive locations. Good number of restaurants, and you can buy all you need. Excellent basis for mountains & lake holidays.

I stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway with my family.

I stayed at this hotel for a weekend getaway with my family. The hotel has some pros and cons that I would like to share. Pros: - The staff were helpful and friendly. They answered our questions and gave us some tips on what to do in the area. - The hotel has a small shop with a decent selection of snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. - The room was spacious and comfortable. We had enough space for our luggage and belongings. - The surrounding area was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed the views and the fresh air. - The wellness area was a nice bonus. We could use it before and after check-in and check-out, which was convenient. Cons: - The check-in and check-out times were not ideal for a weekend stay. We had to check in at 4 pm and check out at 10 am, which felt too rushed and limited our time to relax and explore. - The hotel did not provide any towels. We had to bring our own or buy them from the shop. This was not mentioned in the welcome email or the website, which was misleading and disappointing. - The hotel only gave us one small soap for two nights and three people. This was not enough for our hygiene needs. We had to buy more soap from the shop, which was an extra expense and inconvenience. Overall, I think this hotel is overpriced for what it offers. For 300 CHF per night, I would expect more amenities and services, especially towels. The hotel has some potential, but it needs to improve its communication and customer satisfaction.

Nice hiking trails (e.g. direction to Brunnen down at the lake) Nice easy walk around Morschach It is close to other interesting places (Lucern, Stoos, Pilatus) In general the region is very nice, people speak english (comparing to french part of the Switzerland)

Morshach is quiet mountain town w/farmers etc.

Morshach is quiet mountain town w/farmers etc. It is very green and good for the soul. The road leading up the mountain is very narrow and the roads thru the town even narrower. Not many restaurants to choose from but there are more choices in nearby Brunner - a short drive.

This hotel is a fantastic family oriented place.

This hotel is a fantastic family oriented place. Of course it caters for couples and singles too! Basically, if you are looking for a fun time with kids, or a relaxing spa retreat - it has it all. Children eat for free, that in itself is a big plus and the food choices for them were excellent.

We walked from Sisikon to the hotel on the Swiss Path to reach Brunnen. The hotel was mid-way and perfect to rest - there is a nice balcony where you can have your meals with a fantastic view. The breakfast was amazing! We were upgraded to a family room and we were very comfortable - we liked the terrace overlooking the lake! Great stay - we will return

B&B Hotel Mattli is in a beautiful location with a view of the lake. 10 mins walk to the bus station. The area is quiet so anyone can rest. Sometimes it seems like no one was in this hotel. The staff are polite and friendly. Rooms and bathrooms were clean and breakfast was delicious.

The hotel has a lot of facilities. Would really recommend for families. Spa is very nice, although it gets very crowded. Rooms are good equipped (only con was we didn’t have 2 night tables which was a bit strange) cleaning is also good
