Perfect location to stay and to travel to the Bad Ragaz ski resort. The facilities are super new, clean, everything worked well. The stuff is extremely welcoming and helpfull. Great to have lockers to leave your luggage and the bust stop just across the road which brings you directly to the ski lifts, would highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Garni Hotel Torkelbundte.The staff were friendly and helpful,the rooms were spotless and comfortable,and the facilities were excellent.The breakfast was delusious with lots of variety.Everything exceed our expectations,we will definetly come back and highly recommend it!

My friends and I came to Bad Ragaz for my Birthday celebration and it was the best decision I've made! We spent there 2 nights, and obviously it was not enough! The Spa is huge, saunas are amazing, the view and location are magical. Breakfast al card so delicious and elegant. The stuff is so helpful, friendly and nice. We had two dinners, one in 'Memories' with 3 Michelin stars and it was not just a dinner, it was such a beautiful experience The second in 2 Michelin stars 'Igniv' very special and interesting as well I regret we couldn't stay longer

The people (the manager at the reception, the waiters and the cleaner etc) were super friendly, helpful and altogether! Very clean hotel and rooms, breakfast was tasty too. The dinner we ordered on a couple of occasions also didn’t disappoint. Overall, our experience was amazing and the location refreshing with stunning views!

Easy reservation, smart and easy automated check in, pretty clear instructions on where to park. Didn’t have to face or talk to a single person, which was amazing! Great location, at the train station, but perfectly quiet at night. Haven’t tried the coffee or breakfast, but will do next time!

Suitable accommodation.

Suitable accommodation. In the bathroom there is a washing machine and dryer, plenty of towels. Spacious open bedroom with two double beds. Another separate room. Equipped kitchen (we were only missing the classic larger tea mugs, only coffee mugs were available). Near the train station, center. About 100 m from the destination there is an excellent restaurant Alpenrose.

Maienfeld is a lovely little village, a good starting point...

Maienfeld is a lovely little village, a good starting point for hiking or walking, but unfortunately it's not very centrally located and doesn't have direct access to a mountain railway. It's an ideal place to stay overnight if you're working in Landquart or the surrounding area.

I had no idea that Maienfeld was the home of "Heidi," but it...

I had no idea that Maienfeld was the home of "Heidi," but it was a pleasant surprise. A visit to the Heidi Village is recommended; there isn't much to see in the village itself, but it's nice to look around. Otherwise, the surrounding area offers many hiking trails.

Absolutely stunning, just like in the movies.

Absolutely stunning, just like in the movies. Everything is compact; you can take a short stroll or hike as high as you like. I spontaneously hiked 14 km that day. There's architecture and nature to admire – both breathtaking. And for tired legs, there's a fantastic spa nearby...

Lovely location - great views Super clean Staff nice. One lady was specially friendly and helpful! Super balcony came with our room - with view over valley Perfect spot - just by Heididorf - Heidi's very own village. This jolly hotel is a MUST for Heidi fans. It made me realise that the German part of Switzerland is a million times nicer than the French bit I would love to return!
