The fast check-in check-out process, the view of the room was magnificent. I was so in love to go to sleep and wake up on the sound of the cows and their specific bells, admire them from balcony, and have a peaceful view. The room was big enough for our needs, the bathroom was so nice, everything seemed newly done. The balcony was perfect for chill night or morning coffee. The kitchen was also nice. Everything was beautiful.

The hotel was very clean. The room was a good size and although our room faced the road we couldn't hear the traffic noise. The staff were polite and friendly and spoke good English. There was a good choice for breakfast and everything was fresh. The timings for breakfast were good ie spread over a few hours.

It was an exceptional experience. The hotel location is in Meggen 12 minutes away by bus to Central Lucern. The view, the cleanliness and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Miss Leean. Good food and breakfast The hostess was caering and attentive during all morning encounters. we enjoyed our time at the hotel. It is recommended if you don't mind the stairs.

With its historic charm and secluded location, this lodge is the perfect escape for travelers looking to get away from the city. I also liked the fact that the price includes a delicious buffet breakfast. The surrounding hills and mountains are currently experiencing beautiful snowfall.

I ended up there by chance (I wanted a cheaper place to stay...

I ended up there by chance (I wanted a cheaper place to stay than in Lucerne), but we unexpectedly discovered a holiday village from where you can go to various trails, with a beach, boat and train connections. A quick overnight stay made me want to come back there for a longer stay after a while.

Late check-in was seemlessly easy, really enjoyed the automated system in place. Room was super clean, spacious, modern, I liked the touch-control hub for all lights in the room. Only awkward thing, the shower curtain blocks out the bathroom light so you have to shower with it open, and the bathroom window opens on to the road. Otherwise, really great place, exactly what i want out of a work hotel.

The location was fantastic: the hotel is located at the lake. We really enjoyed being able to go out on the lake for a kayak trip. The restaurant nearby offers a great menu of local dishes. The hotel has the look and feel of a medieval castle, with modern facilities.
