Was there 5 days for cycling the high mountain passes. Wonderful hotel with very good price/quality. The staff is amazing friendly! Danke Astrid und Carmen, Grazie Roberta! Booked also evening dinner at a good price and the cook (Peter) makes wonderful meals . Very good hotel in one of the most beautiful regions in Europe. I would like to go again . A beautiful hotel, even if the weather is grim outside. They went above and beyond when my partner realised she’d left her sunglasses in the room and the hotel not only found them but posted them to us in the UK at no extra cost. A perfect stop for exploring the Grimsel and Furka passes, plus the hotel has a parking garage - useful for keeping your motorbike out of the elements over night. Exceptional dinner (reflected in the price, but worth it!) and lovely staff.

The surrounding mountains are epic and the Hospiz is indeed a relaxing and comfort hotel as everything is as you would expect from a mountain resort. Employees extremely accommodating and super friendly and the cuisine is exquisite just like a top restaurant in town. In particular to mention is the top service provided by the managing couple and a very nice lady from Bavaria, Eva. Really enjoyed the stay!

Great hotel in the scenic Grimsel Pass area. Fabulous location for walking or visiting the Gelmerbahn. Bus stops at the door and it's only 1 hour from Meiringen. The terrace restaurant is nice for during the day or pre-dinner drinks. Food is outstanding especially considering the isolated location. Well done to the kitchen staff and chef.

The hotel is beautiful, full of charm, and perfectly integrated into the natural surroundings. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and the staff was overall friendly. The interior has a lot of character, which made the stay very pleasant.
