The appartement is super! It has a lot of space, good beds, nice dinnerware, of course wonderful sauna (it could be really hot) and a lot of towels. We were pleased with presents for us, it is super to get some goodies and tea. Our kids were happy to find different games. The instruction and help were made at hte high level. No more than 90 minutes by car from Zurich airport and the same from Chur for Bernina and Glacier Expresses. 20 minutes from Andrematt and that it has to offer. Swiss rail station within walking distance

Cute little town with a detailed history.

Cute little town with a detailed history. Get a copy of the walking tour and/or check out the museum at the train station for more information about the tunnels and bridges. Göschenen is a great place to stay if skiing in Andermatt and you want to be away from the crowds. It’s a quick drive or train ride away.

My experience in Andermatt was the best possible because of the hotel. From check-in to check-out, I was well treated and welcomed. Both the staff, the gentleman who served us and the lady, are incredible. I would like to thank the lady who was wonderful with us. I would stay at this hotel 1,000 times over. If you are thinking about going to Andermatt and have nowhere to stay, stay at this hotel. It's not about luxury. It's about a clean, organized place where you'll be treated like a home. The breakfast is delicious.

The hotel is very very old fashioned but it was clean, the owner was extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was enough, with enough selection. It's in the central but it was quiet during the night. The parking is next to the house, enough places for big cars also. The walking route with dogs starts 50 meters from the house. Perfect stay for one night and good value for the money compared to the extremely expensive Andermatt.

The location is good. The hotel is in the centre, just up a small hill from the train station. The community is small, so the hotel is easy to find. Bike storage in the garage is excellent and secure. Receptionist was awesome. So warm and welcoming. And it was her 3rd day! Room is spacious. Furnishings older, however more than adequate. Breakfast was good. Nothing amazing, just a solid Swiss breakfast.

For a mountain escape it’s a great place to sspend a night or passing through. At the end of a road quite high up the mountain. Great mountain views. The only sound we could hear in the evening was cow bells. A truly authentic countryside place. Far from hotel chain feeling.
