We had a super memorable stay in this flat! It was lovely, very comfortable for our group of six people, and had all amenities needed. The host was very attentive and provided some additional cooking essentials and breakfast food too. The trip to the slopes is very quick and easy. Will definitely repeat!

No more than 90 minutes by car from Zurich airport and the same from Chur for Bernina and Glacier Expresses. 20 minutes from Andrematt and that it has to offer. Cute little town with a detailed history.

Cute little town with a detailed history. Get a copy of the walking tour and/or check out the museum at the train station for more information about the tunnels and bridges. Göschenen is a great place to stay if skiing in Andermatt and you want to be away from the crowds. It’s a quick drive or train ride away.

Ideal for an overnight stop on the way south.

Ideal for an overnight stop on the way south. Since work is currently underway on the second tube of the Gotthard Tunnel, parts of the town resembled one giant construction site. When we arrived there around 4 pm on Saturday, "the sidewalks were already rolled up" and we couldn't find anywhere to buy anything.

I'd never had the chance to see Göschenen properly. It was a lovely surprise. Don't worry, the few locals I met were very nice and welcoming. It's in the middle of the beautiful Swiss mountains. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer...

The hike around Lake Göscheneralp was absolutely beautiful. The deep blue water was truly impressive. It was a shame that the Dammagletscher restaurant by the lake was no longer open in such wonderful weather in mid-October.

The location is breathtakingly beautiful. The hotel is fantastic. Breakfast is fine, not very extensive but completely fine. We stayed on our way to Italy for 1 night in the annex on the first floor. There are a total of 3 rooms. The kitchen, 1 toilet and the sink are shared with these rooms. The shower is wonderful. You can also use the facilities downstairs. In the evening we went for a walk, you can see the waterfall, and there is snow. We will come again!

The hotel is very very old fashioned but it was clean, the owner was extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was enough, with enough selection. It's in the central but it was quiet during the night. The parking is next to the house, enough places for big cars also. The walking route with dogs starts 50 meters from the house. Perfect stay for one night and good value for the money compared to the extremely expensive Andermatt.

The location is good. The hotel is in the centre, just up a small hill from the train station. The community is small, so the hotel is easy to find. Bike storage in the garage is excellent and secure. Receptionist was awesome. So warm and welcoming. And it was her 3rd day! Room is spacious. Furnishings older, however more than adequate. Breakfast was good. Nothing amazing, just a solid Swiss breakfast.

Wat a lovely place. Stayed here to participate in the Alpenbrevet cycle marathon in Andermatt. The surrounding is amazing. In Göschenen you are close to the supermarket and some restaurants. The appartment is clean, everythiny you need is there and it's very clear how to handle all the stuff. Last but not least, host Fiona is very friendly and welcoming. A place to come back.
