Exceptional service from all staffs from date of booking till our check out. Booking.com shocked me by cancelling my taxi booking on the eve of my check-out and I had to get the hotel staff to help me with a taxi booking. They were steady, swift and very professional. The hotel rooms are exceptionally comfy, clean and tidy. Thanks for the lovely swiss alps experience with a hotel experience that is so pleasant. The train station and the ski station is very near the hotel. So we are able to catch all the sights easily. Lastly, we went to the victorinox shop and the staff nicole was exceptionally professional and friendly. She gave such great customer service that my teacher who was travelling with us today was very impressed.

Wassen is small but this hotel more than fit our needs. It is located right on the Trans Swiss hiking trail #2, and next to the grocery store, also a plus. We got the triple room to benefit from a private bathroom, so the room was spacious on top of being comfortable. The real hotel gem was its restaurant. The food was delicious, and the owners take great care not only in preparing the food, but also caring for their guests There were also nicely furnished common rooms for those who might be traveling in a group. Breakfast has everything we needed and set us off on the right foot for the day's hike.

Quiet village situated centrally for access to stunning mountain scenery and impressive passes. No more than 90 minutes by car from Zurich airport and the same from Chur for Bernina and Glacier Expresses. 20 minutes from Andrematt and that it has to offer. Swiss rail station within walking distance

Cute little town with a detailed history.

Cute little town with a detailed history. Get a copy of the walking tour and/or check out the museum at the train station for more information about the tunnels and bridges. Göschenen is a great place to stay if skiing in Andermatt and you want to be away from the crowds. It’s a quick drive or train ride away.

We stayed for one night on the way to Italy. The hotel is basic but very clean and the beds are very comfortable, the location is quiet so we had good sleep. The owner is very nice and he arranged a late check-in for us. The hotel is on the expensive side but not for Switzerland, everything else around was double the price.

The staff was very nice. The restaurant at the hotel is good - we had breakfast and dinner there and were pleasantly surprised. We went skiing to Andermatt, and the train connection was fairly convenient - the hotel is just several minutes walk from the station, and there are several trains per hour that go to Andermatt.
